You can take this dream in two ways, metaphorically or literally. Actually, if you do the work, both ways can be successful. The girl in the dream represents both the girl and a quality you need inside yourself. The reason that the girl is saying yes to you in the dream is because you need to develop a part of you inside that says yes to yourself and then goes for things. If you say yes to yourself when you go after a relationship, you are going to get a lot of yeses in return because most people have the same issue you have.
The great problem with most people including yourself is that you have a part of you that says no to you all the time and then you hold back when all you need to do is to have yes inside and respond to it by acting on it.
When you deal with this kind of problem, the best question you can ask is who is saying no to you. You probably have a voice or two or three that say no to you when you want a yes. The “no” in your head is usually parental and cultural and has to do with other’s fear about your future because they don’t trust in your inner giftedness and ability to make your way through life. Respond to the yes by turning down the volume of the no. When you respond to yeses, it not only helps you with relationships, but also with your life in general.

i been having dreams about this girl i kind of like,my first dream with her and she telling me that she likes me and wants to be with me and been waiting for me and the 2 dream is am in my old high school and she is in my class and she asks me for help and i say yes and i just stand up and grab her hand and go out in the hallway and she asks again if am going to help her and i say yes i need to know what does this all mean for real??
In the dream your boy friend wrecks his car and then takes a long time to get it working again. A car is a symbol of how you get from one place to another in your life usually in your daily life. So it has a lot to do with how well you can accomplish the things you set out to do each day. His ability to do this is wrecked, according to your dream. This means that he has a some problem with getting things done and then a problem with how to get it fixed.
Your mistake in the dream is fighting. Fighting is not a good strategy because it aggravates the situation and then allows him to put the negative that belongs to him back onto you. Your motivation for fighting is to get him to change his abilities, but fighting doesn’t work. It only makes it worse.
When you fight a lot with another person, you lose your vision and then your plans get killed. This is the meaning of the last part of the dream. I cannot tell you if the dream means that he is going to be violent. If he has been violent in the past, it will be aggravated by the fighting. Since you describe this relationship as a boy friend and not a marriage partner, you still have time to get out of the relationship.
The important thing for you to do is to use the quality of discernment. If you were to be married to him, he would probably not be a responsible provider because his ability to get things accomplished doesn’t seem very effective. The big thing for you is to be able to step back from the relationship and assess his character. Is this someone you want to stay with for the long-term?
When you fight, you lose your ability to see the character of others and you kill your own plans. This is because your focus is on changing him rather than improving yourself. Anyway, I would say that the relationship you are in is probably not very healthy for the both of you because the fighting means that you are too wrapped up into trying to change each other.
This is a problem with many relationships because we have been trained culturally to expect love and nurturing in the arms of someone else. The cultural model is to go into a relationship with the idea of taking rather than of giving. A man often sees a woman as a way to get loved through sex, while a woman sees a man as a pocketbook. So they spend a lot of time trying to get the other attracted for the motive of taking something from each other. For a long-term relationship to be successful there has to be a lot of giving by both partners. That is why it is important not to jump into bed right away with someone and get addicted to the love making. Long-term success for a man is not measured so much on how good he can make you feel on a date, but on how much he can sacrifice for his family.
It is clear that your relationship is in trouble and you need some distance from it so that you can accurately assess his character. You don’t want to get into a relationship with someone who is not responsible and reliable to do what he promises.

Thank you for sharing this dream. I am sure that it was horrifying. Whatever way you take this, symbolically or literally, this kind of dream carries with a great deal of terror that is not easy to manage. In summary, you and your sister are going to be raped by an older man with the help of his wife. Nothing you do to stop them even cutting the woman with glass does not help.
It is always important to look at dreams as symbols because dreams are written in symbolic language. In this case the symbols are an aged couple, the threat of rape of you and your sister. Rape, in the literal sense, is being forced upon sexually through the use of power and threat. As a symbol it can mean having ideas, a career, a religion, a way of life forced upon you through the use of power and threat.
In your case the rape is done by an older person which means that they are trying to force the ways of doing things of the older generation upon you. Having your sister in the dream signifies that the fear is not only for your own self, but for all of your sisterhood, which is all people who are younger or the same age as you.
In essence the fear is that you are not going to be able to be the person you want to be or have the values you want to have that are true and lasting to you because the older generation is going to force their values and ways upon you leaving you unprotected. It is positive that you were not raped in the dream but only threatened. This has to do with the dynamic in yourself that, as you look at the future, you are fearful of the older generation forcing their ways upon you, but you haven’t quite been raped by them yet. What is difficult is that even when you try to protect yourself, they keep coming for you. This is because you are being raped by a whole culture of misguided values. The pressure on young people is very great because the older generation always paints a horrible picture of what the negative outcomes will be if you don’t do as they want you to do. This is always ironic to me because it is the older generations who have left the world in such a mess.
By the fact that you had this dream, you hold within yourself the solutions for what are the major issues in the world. In actuality you are the threat and they are hugely fearful of you. The older generation tends to try to overcome the fear by forcing themselves on you and then making you submissive to them. The reason that the fear is so strong in the dream is because they hold the current authority and temporal power over you. If you act against them, they will make your life miserable.
So what is the solution? Since I am 61, I can speak for my the things that my generation is trying to do. We were the flower-power generation of the 60s which is why you are in flower shop with a woman wearing a flowered dress. People of that generation still believe that if you have a good leader and a good government, i.e., if the top is really good, then everything will be great in the world. In America this generation elected a president in the 1980s who believed in something called trickle-down economics, which means that if you give all the money to the rich, they will trickle it down to everyone else and then their will be equity. Of course what happened is that they kept all the money and now the gap between the rich and poor is much greater than it ever was. But they still believe that all change happens at the top. Your goal in life should not be to make it to the top. All over the world you see people trying to take down the top and then replace the top with something better, but the misery continues.
So the key for you is to find out what they were missing and then start living that kind of life. What they were missing is the opposite of being raped. The opposite of rape is true intimacy, true closeness to others. This is what the world is missing and what is in your heart to do and why you are having the dream. True intimacy is not a sexual thing, but an interpersonal one. The older generation has been obsessed with making it to the top or changing the top which has caused them to ignore how to have successful long-lasting close relationships. The fact that the divorce rate is 50% is a pretty good indicator that intimacy does not exist strongly in the world. When people are closer to each other rather than clawing their way to the top, war ceases. No one wants to have a war with their best friends because closeness is an end in itself that is much more satisfying than riches and land.
This is a very long explanation to you, but I want you understand just how important this message is and what a positive part you can play in the future of the world.
Rape is a symbol of trying to forcibly use power which is an addictive quality of the older generation. Intimacy is the solution.

I am only 16, but sometimes my dreams disturb me. I have a few big ones that I would like to know what they mean.
In my first dream, I am in an old flower shop in the back sun room with my 10 year old sister Natalie. The walls are a faded, cracked, green and the flowers were mostly a faded, light, pink. When I look out the open back, sun room door (which is open) I see the owners wife. She is probually in her 60s. She is wearing a long flower dress and her grey hair is pulled back into a bun, and she has glasses on. I was scared because I knew her husband was going to rape me and my sister, and she was going to help. Then I see her husband (the owner of the flower shop) come and look at us. He was old too, he was shorter then her and was wearing old fashion clothes as well. He stood next to his wife and whispered something into her ear and then looked at us and walked into another back room as she looked at us and walked towards us. I screamed for my sister to run but she barley backed up. The lady came in the room and locked the door with us in the room. I knew we were going to be raped and I didnt want that for my sister. So I picked up an empty glass bottle and broke it. I ran up to her and started jabing it into her neck;; several times. But she wouldnt die even though there was blood all over my hands. I couldnt hear my sister screaming which isnt like her. That was one of my dreams. Can you please help me out?
My dream starts off I am on a beautiful vacation in a tropical location. I am with my husband and my 2 year old with grandparents back home! We have Ocean views and a very upper class hotel. Very colorful and pretty. We are leaving our room when a colorful parrot lands on my shoulder and walks to my hands. It lays there and dies. I am very upset and try looking for a worker to help me save it. I walk into a room with more parrots and give the bird to a man. I then try to leave and a
Coral snake appears (the posious kind) I am deathly afraid of snakes and scream. The bird man yells and my husband runs in. He scoops me up and the bird man kills the snake. I then wake up.
I had another dream recently, it’s sad compared to my others and I don’t remember it as much but something in it stood out. Here it is:
I see it through thes eyes of Someone renovating a house, there was a mass murder there and several school children lost there lives and they’re souls are trapped there. A little eight year old boy with blue eyes communicates with her through her dreams and he is always holding a rainbow ribbon. The rainbow part sticks out traumatically and when she finds the ribbon she brings it to the place were the blue-eyed boy was buried and places it there and the ribbon glowed until it took up my entire field of vision. It was pretty strange, any help?

This is a very interesting dream and gives a lot of insight into what is happening in the world. The freezing in the world means the freezing of people’s hearts toward each other or the lack of warmth and love in the world amongst all of the people. When there is a lack of love or warmth between people, then people have to retreat into protected places. They feel like they need to protect themselves from each other. This makes them become very conservative in the way they approach life and susceptible to leadership by dictators.
What you are trying to do in the dream is to escape the cold to get to some kind of warmth. When there is coldness and resultant dictatorships, there is only one solution which is to spread warmth and love in the world. A dictator is capable of controlling everything except the human heart. When the heart if full of love, nothing is capable of preventing its expression. The dream is asking you to be vehicle for spreading love in the world.
The second dream is about your amazing ability to see beauty and share it with others. Beauty is the organizing principle for the construction of the new world order. All things will be beautiful in the centuries to come.
The first need is in the world is love and warmth. This melts the hearts and allows the protection and ugliness to come down. It also frees us from the need for dictators. The second thing is beauty. In the coming years as people’s hearts begin to thaw, the arts will be regarded as the greatest accomplishments. Parents will no longer wish for their children to doctors or lawyers as the highest professions. They will regard as artists as the highest.
Your dream says that if you want to get rid of the dictators and have them never come back, then first love your neighbor and create a neighborhood so full of love that no one could ever imagine a cruel dictator. The second is to walk in beauty, to see with eye of beauty.

What does Natalie’s dream mean?

I had two extremely strange dreams and so will tell the first one first.
In this dream the earth had frozen over and the only surviving humans lived in a huge dome-like structure which protected them from the below freezing temperature outside. The city inside the dome was run by a dictatorship like government, and execution was carried out commonly when people broke or defied the law. Several people from the other side of the earth where the sun still shined had traveled to this dome city, but where captured and taken into custody before anyone figured out they had come, except for the dictators daughter and her close friend.they rescued the prisoners and hid them before finally running off to another dome kingdom that they had no idea existed. They were chased and almost captured and killed several times, but they made it.
My second dream I was back-packing through Russia and it was beautiful out, I remember the architecture was mesmerizing when I came to a neighborhood which had basic suburban houses when my friend came along and asked me to walk with him, we walked along a path which was so vivid I can make a 136 degree diagram of it, he was explaining to me about a recipe he was trying to correct, any idea what either of these dreams may mean?

I received your great reply to my dream and I thank you so much. Shortly after your reply I learned that perhaps my dream was pre-cognizant in nature.
For the past 3 years I have been taking care of my granddaughter who turns 3 in June, and off and on her brother who turns 6 in September. A few days after your reply and my dream my daughter told me that in July both the kids will be in day camp all day, every day, and that starting in August both will be going to school full-time. All of a sudden I felt as if I was out of a job, though taking care of them isn’t really work. But I realize that I will have vast spaces of time to myself. And that now I get a chance to work on the two rooms that need to be finished. Though exactly how I finish them or what I do to finish them is up in the air at the moment as I mull over possibilities and ideas for “recreating” myself. I feel that the dream might have been telling me this is what I would be doing next in my life.

I had this very clear and real dream and though I think I understand it I would like your input. — I am looking at this red brick home to buy. I am with an agent who is selling the house. We walk up to the porch which has beautiful furniture on it and through the front door. The rooms are wide and spacious and light and airy. The kitchen is well appointed with all the latestest appliances. It is advertised as a two bedroom, two bath condo. The first bedroom is beautiful with a great bathroom. Everything is quite nice. We step out onto the patio in the back of the house. I notice that the second bedroom is not even built and the bathroom is only plumbed with pipes but it too is not finished. Across from the patio is a fenced field with some sort of generators and mechancial equipment in it. Clearly the condo is not complete as advertised and the view from the patio is not all that great. — I am thinking that perhaps this means that I still have a lot of work to do spiritually. What are your thoughts on this?

Recently I had this dream: i was waiting outside at this clinic/hospital for my family. I saw them a few doors down from where I was. They entered a door so I hurried down to catch up with them. But I entered the wrong door. I could see them through the glass wall on the other side. They indicated they would meet up with me at the end of the corridor. So I hurried down the corridor I was on, it was full of medical equipmnent, doors and offices, like any hospital or clinic. When I came to the end of the corridor I turned left and then left again to go up the corridor I assumed they were on. Only the corridor had several open-bay rooms with fish tanks along the top of the wall and patients in each bay with monitors and hospital equipment. I entered one of the bays as I noticed several nurses in there with a patient and assumed they could direct me to the right corridor. I found myself in a room in which the patient was dying. One of the nurses turned around so I wouldn’t see and explained all the patients in this area were dying and to just wait a minute and she’d help me. I noticed in the other bays patients were dying but it was like they were giving birth, but they were having a very hard time of it. The nurse came up to me after the patient died and told her name was Jesse and I said I think I will just walk home. She said, “I’ll walk with you as I am going that way to.” (I didn’t stop to think how she knew). So we started down this wide dirt path, there was a river on one side and hills and trees on the other and it was sunny. Jesse said to me, “You know all that lady’s posessions will be gone by tomorrow.” “No one will ever know she was here.” I said that I knew that and that was sort of sad. As we walked along Jesse mentioned old friends of mine Ed and Anita. I was surprised she knew them. She replied “Oh yes I knew them.” “They helped me find a house in the Bahamas where I could keep my horses.” I said, “Oh, you mean Panama where they were pioneers.” She said, “No, the Baha-mas.” I said, “You know Anita and I were cousins.” Then I turned around to say something more and Jesse was no longer a she but a he which greatly surprised me. He looked at me with an amused look and said, “But you know, angels can be anything they want to be.” Which caused him to laugh. We got to a bend in the road with a road leading into it from the right. I said, “Well, it has been nice, this is road ahead is my road home.” Jesse said, “I live down this road”, pointing to the right, you can come home with me and I will give you a ride home in my red truck.” “Oh”, I said, “that is a decision isn’t it.” “I don’t have my cane with me which makes walking easier.” “Hm, the road home was a bit long and curvy and it would be evening in a few hours, and the road to Jesse’s home was straight and his home was nearby. “No, I said, “I think I can make it, but thank you for the offer.” As I started down the road to my home I thought, “Well, you could have gone with Jesse, but you’ll be home before dark and it isn’t too hard a walk, it will be okay.” That’s when I woke up.

I am quite baffled with the meaning of this dream. It begins with me having a new born baby…..the infant is about 6 inches long, very alive and well. I am struggling to fing clothes for it and so it lies naked in a nicely prepared padded and clean bed no bigger than 8 inches. It is time for me to clean the baby and the bed as he or she has had a bowel movement as big as himself….can’t find anything to clean it up with….I am looking!!!i go from house to house then apt to apt. looking……… baby is fine and very content. Then the scene changes to a bar where there is a young Dr. that is completely loud and inapropriate, beside him is a friend of mine then my new boyfriend-lover. I am trying to fit in at the bar but do not want to be beside the loud Dr. and so I ask Terry my new boyfriend of about three months…. if he could move over and allow me to stand beside him.He rudely refuses… I leave the bar very upset….walk outside and find myself walking by a lake. I am crying because at 67 yrs. of age why was I so stupid to have a new baby and especially with Terry… who is now with me by the water.He is actually quite aloof and distant and wants out of our relationship. I then see a close girlfriend of mine appear…She is very loving in real life and so there she is in my dream. I woke up with this overwhelming feeling of relief that it was indeed a dream and I even laughed as I told Terry the story. It did however disturb me!!!
