  1. I recently auditioned for a really big thing, I came back from LA (the audition) about a month ago. Now I’m just waiting on a callback. Ever since I came back from LA I’ve had about 6 dreams about getting the callback. What could this mean? And to top it off I keep watching TV & theirs commercials that jump out at me saying like “And Hollywood is next.” I’m really hoping I get the callback. Could this mean I will get it soon?

  2. This is a great dream to have for you. It means that the Male person has a particular quality that is very positive that you also need to make your life work in a positive way. It is really great when there are famous people with positive attributes because they can be like role models for us.

The way you can do the dream work is to first ask yourself what is it that you admire about the person in a non-physical, non-material way. For instance, he may be very generous, compassionate, honest, courageous, or gentle. Then you begin to have a relationship with that energy by imagining yourself outside of yourself with the energy. The more often you can see yourself with the desired energy the better.

As soon as you see yourself being the person with the same positive energy as the famous person, your life will begin to automatically change because you will be pulled along a path where that energy leads. As you see yourself, then you can feel what it is like to be in that positive energy by stepping inside the imagined self. You should do this in a quiet space where you have no distractions. The positive energy has a lot of power to do great things. That is why you are attracted to it.

Then you can just so completely go for it.

  3. Dear Anne,
Nice to know that we have relatives now in Costa Rica.
This dream gives you lots of good information about why you lost your dream life and then how to get it back.
You have probably the two most basic symbols in a dream, a house and a car. A home is a symbol of your self so when you are trying to get back home in your dream it means that you are trying to get back to your self. A car is a symbol of how you get to a goal, especially short-term ones.

So in your dream you started going to an event and then you parked your car only to worry that you were not going to be able to find it and then just wanting to get back home only to be lost in a maze. In the dream the event seems to be social in nature as opposed to work or recreational. The meaning that the dream is saying is that when you go out to have a good time socially, you are worried that something is going to happen that you won’t be able to make it back home. This means that when you go out socially you are not bringing your full true self with you. You leave it behind and then worry that you won’t be able to get to it again.

So sometime in your past you learned that in order to be involved socially you had to forget yourself, i.e., you had to leave your true self behind and probably be a self that was socially acceptable or something like that. Now you are in a place (Costa Rica) where you probably don’t feel that way so much. You are starting to better remember who you are and take it with you wherever you go, but since you spent a fair amount of time forgetting to bring yourself with you, you are having the dream so that you can fully have a new habit now.

The primary negative emotion here is anxiety, the solution of which is usually confidence. In your case it would be the confidence to bring who you truly are with you where you go and then start achieving all that you want to do.

  4. Hi Richard, I am your son-in-law’s Shane’s aunt (Lucie’s sister). Nice to meet you… virtually.

My husband and I moved from Canada to Costa Rica last summer. It’s been an amazing experience. When I was younger, my dreams were incredibly vivid (like techno-coloured movies), but then, things went dark. For years I would wake up not even feeling I had dreamed. I really missed my dream life. Now, since being in Costa Rica, I’m starting to remember my dreams in the morning, and if I don’t, at least I wake up with the ‘knowing’ that I did dream. It’s a start.

Last night, I dreamed I was going to an event and had to find somewhere to park the car. I parked it on the side of the street, in a dim-lit area (under a tree, I think, so in the shade). Then I walked (with someone, not sure who) down to where there was more light, it was an underground parking lot and I got a ticket (as though I thought I had parked the car in this underground parking lot, forgetting where I parked the car). We met up with some people, chatted for a bit, but I was feeling anxious. I was feeling like I really had to get back to the car and get home. The was no danger, just a feeling I had to leave this place. As I started to look for the car in the lit underground area, I started to panic that the car had been stolen. The person I was with turned into my middle sister and she saw a bunch of friends and family over yonder so she decided that finding the car could wait and she’d rather go visit with them. They were all standing around about 100 ft away. I smiled and waved, but nothing was going to distract me in finding my car. I felt a bit rude, like I ‘should’ go and say hello, but it just wasn’t in me at that moment. The sun was going down and the sky was getting darker and I felt this urgent need to find the car and go home. All of a sudden, after looking all over, I remembered that I had parked it on that side street. I found the car, much to my relief, got in and started driving, feeling good that I could now go home (I had no image of what or where home was… just the notion of ‘home’). As I started to drive, the roads instantly became a maze of highways, I had no idea which exit would take me home. It was chaotic and I wondered where all these twists and turns came from… I was confused because I distinctly remember not having to go through this mess on the way to the parking spot.

There were other subtle things going on throughout the dream, but they elude me now. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!
    Anne

  5. Emma,
Stairs in building refer to vertical movement in life as when you move up or down in position or rank. The problem in the dream is that you are frantic to get to the people at the top, and when you get there feel vertigo. This means that when you are frantic to get people who are perceived as above you, you lose your balance and then even going down is not an option.
The solution to the dream is to see everyone as equal to you on the same plane as if life were a lot more horizontal. When you are with an inspired leader, they have the ability to make you feel like they are on the same level as you because that is how they feel. Unfortunately there are still many people who live life trying to get higher than others.

It is obviously an uncomfortable feeling for you when you are at the top. You can get into balance and feel calm when you see all humanity as one because this makes relationships so much more available.

  6. Hi Richard

I am have had a recurring dream for the last few nights now.

Someone is waiting for me at the top of a building and I am frantically running up the stairs to get to them, as I near the top i am overwhelmed with vertigo and am left unable to move any futher. If I try to go back down the stairs they bend back on themselves and I am left hovering over the precipice of the stairwell, as soon as I settle down again the stairs return to normal.

  7. Mountains in dreams symbolize challenges because when you are at the bottom of a mountain ready to go to the top it takes a mighty effort. In your dream you don’t see to have any problems getting to the top of the mountains which indicates that you are good at being challenged and achieving what you set out for. The stones from on top of the mountain that are passing close to you are the obstacles that the people who are currently in positions of leadership are throwing at you when you try to achieve something positive. Every time you try to achieve something, they throw obstacles in front of you because they are jealous of their positions and threatened by someone who is truly competent so it feels like you take one step forward and three steps back. Jealousy is one of the most difficult weapons to overcome because the people who are jealous are very skillful in their dark ways and they often do things that you would not believe people are capable of doing.

The thing that the dream wants you to remember is that you are very competent in achieving whatever you set out to do, but because the jealous ones are so dark you can easily forget your abilities and become extremely discouraged. It can be a huge test. When you pray for guidance, God will open the right door for you that is often very unexpected. And there you will find what you are truly searching for. The jealousy means that that particular door is closed for now, but a new one is open somewhere.

  8. in a dream stones are rolling down from the mountain top and passing from very close to me…..i climb on another mountain top but stones from other mountain was still following me…..but no one hit me…….meanwhile i try to climb on little area but when i put my foot one step up…i slept down 3 steps………….

  9. Dear Sara,
The first dream means that you are dying because you lack support in your life that is very painful to you. Staying in hurt or pain for any length of time is like a death. The back is the symbol of support. It is very common for people to lack support because most parents and adults really are terrible at giving support and you probably know so well.

The second dream is actually worse than first. Fortunately you asked for honesty. Galactic space in a video game is the way you escape from the pain in the first dream. A doppelganger is a separation between yourself and your ego, which you deal with in the wrong way that has bad consequences for you. So what you are trying to do with the pain is to escape from the pain, but when you meet the dark side of yourself, you fight against it which causes you to end up being your dark side all the more.

The process of development for you requires that live your life in a different manner. It is better to acknowledge and feel the hurt inside, realize that the people who you wanted support from are not going to give it, then let go of the pain and go for finding support within yourself. What you are moving to is feeling hurt, holding it in, and then becoming a dark force that does negative things to others. It is not so uncommon because most people do not know how to support their true selves. They become the doppelganger and just start hurting others.

It is actually rare for me to receive a dream like this because people who become the dark side usually get addicted to their ego behavior and then lose their true selves for long periods of time most of them for their whole lives. You can change by feeling the hurt staying with it, and then finding the positive direction in which to go. It usually takes assistance because it is seriously difficult to deal with the pain of the hurt.

You can let me know if you want me to help you work through it. It is a pretty exciting and rewarding adventure to go through.

  10. Dear Richard,
I’ve had two very weird dreams lately and am baffled at what they mean.
The first one is just the words Death, Back and Pain coming up in my mind repeatedly with groans and yells in the back ground. This kinda scares me as they’re all dark things but I’d like an honest meaning – even if its bad!
My second dream begins with me going into a galactic space video game and competing through many levels involving blocks. Then a doppelganger who is evil comes and on him and a door is a symbol that looks like the letter S. I kick it before falling down and almost die until the symbol from the door is placed on my chest and I get up. I awoke feeling dizzy, stunned and stressed! I’m very interested to know what these dreams may mean!
    Thanks,
    Sara

  11. Khana Kaba is the most sacred place in Islam so when you have a dream like this it is like your soul is taking a journey to the most sacred place. If you regard holiness as a spiritual quality that all humans need to nurture and develop, then you can think of this journey as inward journey to the most sacred space where you are closest to your Creator. The pillars of the Khana Kaba could metaphorically represent the 5 pillars of Islam that are so elegantly represented in every mosque because it is the pillars of the Faith that hold a person up.

In your dream you are cleaning the pillars with your father. This means that the pillars of Islam have become dirtied and your role is to purify them. There are things, for instance, like prayer and fasting, where people do not understand the words they are saying or stay up all night eating and drinking and then sleep all day. When these pillars are dirtied, they lose their power to help people to transform their lives. Hospitality is another pillar that has become dirtied. People mistake hospitality for putting on a show and going way overboard out of moderation to impress others by how they entertain rather than showing true hospitality. True hospitality has to do with how you make someone feel comfortable and welcome. It is about inclusion. Much of the Islamic world as well as the rest of the world practices exclusion.

All these things need to be cleaned or purified if they are to have a positive effect in the world. This seems to be your job. Since your father is in the dream, purity would be an inherited family characteristic.

So if you want to be a good Muslim, the key is to add purity to the pillars of Islam. This will change everything for you.

  12. salam……in my dream i saw khana kaba in front of me……nd me my father both doing cleaning of pillars there………….with water and cloth…

  13. Dear Elisha,
The reason that you have this dream is that there is someone in your life, a woman, that is bothering you so much that it feels like your brain is being sucked out. This means that when you attend to the way she bugs you, you cannot think straight, and then you get into a lot of pain over it.
The solution to the dream is for you to take control of your own mind by not allowing her to bother you so much. People that bug us are usually pretty good at it, but as soon as have the virtue of detachment from the bothersome behavior, the person usually goes away or is no longer an issue. The first question is what bugs me so much about her.

  14. I keep having a dream that there’s a lady bug looking bug with long legs sucking on my brain and it won’t come off I can also feel the pain in my dream

  15. Thank you, I really appreciate your help. The dream stayed with me all day and weighed on my soul, I’m glad you had some insight on that. Thank you so much again.

  16. Jen,
The difficulty with dealing with a dream like this for you is that the death of your fiance is so fresh. When people move to the next world, there is still a connection between the souls of people here and the souls of others in the next world. Just as we have a life here that has its own unique characteristics so the souls in the next world have their own work and life. The nature of it, by design, is unknown to us. It is God’s will that we do not know much of the next world only that we know it exists and relate to it on the basis of faith.
There seems to be some sort of spiritual dynamic that comes into play when people maintain their grief over considerable periods of times in that it seems to affect the progress and work of those souls in the next domain who we are attached to. Grief is the emotion that lets you know that something is over and that there is a process of letting go of the outcome that you thought was going to happen.
In your dream you are looking at the window and seeing an airplane fly by. This really can be seen in two ways. One is that the vision and flight of the life you thought you were going to live with your fiance is over and that there is a new vision and a new life waiting for you that is magnificent and wonderful. The same is true with your fiance.
Really what you need to do, as difficult as it may be, is to allow him to rest in peace, which means to allow him to live his life in the next world by not holding onto the dream of being with him. None of us ever live the life we expected because God’s vision for us is always much better than our own. As you let go of the future you thought you were going to have with him, you can begin to be attached to a new future for yourself.

  17. Hello, I had a dream last night that my fiancé (who has been dead for 9 months) came home from work to a house i’d never seen, as I was ready to go into the bedroom to talk to him (he immediately laid down) I looked out the window because I heard a very loud noise and saw an airplane very close taking off. I went into the room and we talked for a minute while he was sleeping and when he woke up it was like I wasn’t there, he started talking about how he wasn’t getting any sleep and has been taking naps because he’s starting to hallucinate. I’m not sure what this means at all, it’s not like any dream I’ve ever had before and when I woke up, my world feels off kilter. I have had dreams of him before, but nothing like this. Please help.

  18. Hello, I am trying to get a couple of dreams interpreted. One dream I had was about owls, so many owls. It was dark and I walked out my front door. There was a big tree that normally is not in the front yard…it was full of all different types of owls, all sizes everything….they were watching me and I could hear faint “hoo hoo hoooo”….little baby owls were flying around me and landing on my shoulders and arms. I didn’t feel fear but very much in awe and at ease at the same time.

The next part was short and sweet….I took a pregnancy test and could see it was positive …the lines were blue and the positive line was faint but definitely there.
Its a bit confusing. I am having pregnancy symptoms and we have been trying.

  19. Last night I dreamt that I was strolling in a shopping center with my old friend, then we decided to go into a shop. Curiously, we were playing video games on separate computers whilst naked. A shower is running in the shop. At some point during our visit in the shop, I decided to peek the door of the shop. Whilst peeking the door, I saw a man strangled by a woman in front of a shop beside the one we’re in, and I saw him struggling for his life but later failed and died from strangulation. I remember that in my dream I rushed into my friend but somehow I couldn’t tell him about the murder in fear that he might over react and the murderers could come and kill us. So I decided to stay playing for awhile. After that we went out of the shop and I can see the murderer sitting on the floor as we walk and she (the murderer) stared me in the eyes, and I was scared. When we walked quite long, far from the murderer, I decided to tell him everything and he believed me. I was really scared in my dream, i felt as if I’m going to be followed and killed by the murderer. So we went inside a luxurious restaurant and sat inside, dining whilst seeking refuge from the murderer because the restaurant’s windows are covered by curtains

I wonder what this means. Also I would like to point that the friend in my dream is my old friend and we haven’t talked and saw each other in 2 years. We were best friends.
