  1. I was wondering if u know what this dream means that I had last night. I was tryiing to cross a river and I didnt make it the current took me then I noticed there was a cliff so I thought I was gonna die but luckily i grabbed onto a tree branch and tthen someone came a rescued me.

    • This is a response to Tatiana’s first dream,
      Hi Tatiana,
Trying to make it from one side of the river over the other is a metaphor for living one kind of life and then getting to a new one. In the process of you trying to get to your better self or having a better life you get swept down the river and nearly die. This is a just a metaphoric experience to let you know that how you get to the other side is my building a solid bridge. You have to take your time and build your way over the other life by having a bridge. The bridge would be things like skills and abilities so that when you get over their you will be successful.

  2. My boyfriend had a dream. He was being chased in a post apocalyptic scene, there were people helping him and they asked him if he was sure he wanted to go there, referring to a hole under a life boat. He went and a man helped him pry it open with a crowbar and he got in the hole and then covered him. My boyfriend was later taken out of the box by someone, he was trying to talk but was unable to, someone came in to check inside a crib and he realized that he was a small child and when the person turned around he said “mama” and it was me, I was his mom smiling at him the same way I always do.

    • This is a response to Julie’s boyfriend’s dream.
A post apocalyptic scene in a dream means that your boyfriend is looking toward the future as if something catastrophic is going to happen and then he is going to have to survive it. When he does this kind of think, he ends being like a child rather than an adult. The solution to these kinds of dreams is do the opposite which is to look at the future in an extremely positive way right now as if really great things are going to happen. When you do this, it is easy to grow up and be an adult rather than remaining in a long childhood like stage. It is the problem with a lot of modern day thinking. People wait to grow up because they are expecting bad to happen. When you see the future as positively as you can, it changes everything because it engages a lot of enthusiasm to after positive things. This is what he needs to do. If he doesn’t change, then you are going to end up with a 40 year old child that wants you to be his mama.

  3. Dear Richard,
This dream is strange to me. But I can peice together and explaination of me having a hard time accepting my mothers death. I have moments of clarity when I know shes gone and moments of blocking it out and not being able to allow myself to feel it. I believe the jist of this dream is replicating my real life way of grieving. Except one part really bothers me.
My mother passed on three weeks ago. In my dream she was sitting with me when I realized I was dreaming because she was dead. I’d then awake inside my dream and think I had had a terrible dream my mom was dead. Id then be with my mom and the same scenario of realizing I was dreaming because she is dead would happen again. This happened multiple times. I dont vividly remember each time but I know each time I had a different response to realizing I was dreaming. Once I was happy to soak up the time. Once I was scared and made myself wake up in the dream. Once I slapped her across the face because I was angry with this illusion of her.. I felt it was a fake and I was so angry at this fake for not really being her i couldnt help myself. At one of the points we were together we were in a restaurant, I’m not certain but I think thats when I hit her.
The fact that I hit her brothers me very bad. I can’t figure out why I’d dream I hit my deceased mother. Sure I know in the dream it was because I was angry about being fooled. But so many times that same situation played out in my dream and I was almost alwats thrilled to just enjoy her. Why that time was i not? Also, I have had isssues with my mom in the past but they have been 100% resolved for years and she became my best friend in the world. For years now ive had zero anger toward her, only love and admiration and gratitude and maybe a little guilt. But even now, Im not angry with her for leaving. She battled lung cancer for a year and a half. She made far far longer than she medically should have, untreatable and inoperable and massive. I believe she hung on for us her daughter’s. She then was in a coma. And she only went when we all told her it was okay to. Im not angry with her for that at all. I meant jt when i told her if she was ready to give up the fight I’d understand and be happy for her. I miss her, I’m broken, hallow, sad and empty. But not angry in the least. So why am I dreaming about slapping her across the face?

    • This is a response to Latasha’s dream,
Hi Latasha, The difficulty you are having is pretty common with people who have passed on. I think that what you are trying to do is to let her go and then get on with the rest of your life. The problem is that she keeps coming back to you. The reason that she keeps coming back to you is so that you will remember and incorporate the best parts of her in your life. This means that she had some wonderful qualities that the spiritual world wants you to remember and use because when you use them, they will make the relationships in the family and in your world much better and stronger. We all inherit the strengths and weaknesses of our parents, but sometimes we forget their positive qualities or try to forget them so that we can get on with other things. Your job now is to keep the family unified. That work has been given to you. When you do this and learn this, then you will learn how to unify your community which is like being able to create unity in the world. She has a quality you need to be able to do this. You have to search your heart to find it and then incorporate it.

  4. This dream starts off with my husband and I happily playjng with our daughter. When we were just about to go to bed i confront him about my speculation on him cheating. Which he then admits to doing with several people while on the job. This ends up in a fight where he, at the end says he wants a divorce. I obviously, am upset. We both then head out to a club. Where my best friend, that lives in another state is, and a few of our other friends. We then get really drunk and thr dream ends with me crying in the shower. I woke up at this point not knowing what just happened.

    • This is a response to Tisana’s dream,
Hi Tisana, So the structure of the dream is that when you speculate about cheating, he says he has, then you fight and he wants to separate. Then you get really upset, try to forget it by getting drunk, it doesn’t work so you end in tears.

In real life you probably want to know if it is true. The dream does not indicate what is true in real life. What it does indicate is that he is cheating on you by being more in love with his work than he is with the family. This is true about a lot of men especially younger men who have a lot of ambition about advancing because they get more enjoyment out of the recognition in the work and have a harder time in family settings because of their own past.

What you need to work on is your own reaction to his behavior because being upset and getting into a fight just ends up with you trying to forget and crying. The goal is to have a close family and him involved which is where the dream starts. So however much he is doing to be with the family, you can start there and recognize him for it in a positive way. He probably has a lot to overcome from his own family. It can get really complicated to do this correctly so get help if your mind goes out of control with speculation.

  5. I keep having a dream of going outside during the daytime, its fall and there being a big owl standing on the ground. In the first dream i was wary of it but remember the previous dreams and add to it. The owl is not injured and is very friendly, enjoys being pet by people and follows me and my daughter around, even enjoys to cuddle. It has little horns on its head and will retreat if anyone tries to touch them but come back quickly to nussle if you sit on the ground. In my previous dreams i had just looked at it and occasionally pet it but this last one i sat on the ground with it and even took some selfies of it cuddling with me and was talking to someone about taking the pics to a vet so i could show them a pic of the owl and ask if there was anything i should be concerned about or if i needed to take it to someone.

    • This is a response to Jami’s dream,
Hi Jami. Owls are symbols of wisdom like carrying around your wisdom with you. You need the owl with you in real life so that you will be guided and make great decisions. When you need guidance, just go inside and ask your owl.

  6. I had a dream also about going to a bike part store with my brother we picked out some stuff then proceeded to check out then we left but we both looked back at the building and it was no longer a part store but an old castle with a elevator/rock boulder type slab to lower people down to the ground but it was powered by energy because nothing would have been strong enough to even move it which was weird so we left and parted ways and I was on my way home but shortly before I arrived there was a flicker in the sky and my house was below it so I continued towards my house and noticed my mom sleeping outside and I asked why are uou out here and she replied..the powers out and the dogs are uncontrollable and will not stop barking so I walked inside and went to my room to grab something to use because something wasn’t right but I couldn’t see so I tt I ed to turn my lamp light on and I flickered and I blacked out then moments after I woke up and saw a little girl with a gown on but could not see her face then she let out a shriek that rang my ears and her jaw extended and I passed out again then I woke up but my moms light was on this time so I walk into her room and my nephew had my camera and my mom was in her bed and told me he your little nephew took pictures while you were sleeping so I took the camara and began looking through these pictures of me badly beat up and then the last picture made me drop the camara it was the girls face screaming in horror then I passed out then woke up my last time to use the restroom and I walked in and shut the door and all I see in the corner was a evil girl in the reflection holding a kitchen knife then I woke up.

    • This is a response to Kyle’s second dream,
Kyle, Read this in context to the other dream. This shows you that when you try to fix simple things like your bike so that you can get where you are going, there are a lot of negative things that happen that end up in evil. What needs to happen your family is a process whereby you can forget the negative in the past in the family and then be in a really calm space so that you can get where you are headed. It usually takes work to let go of the negative past and then go for a positive future.

  7. Had a very vivid dream starting with me hearing this awful sound like I got hit with a concussion grenade and voices so I got up after freaking out then tried to turn on my light but it wouldn’t turn on, and usally my light in these sort of dreams usually flicker or atleast try to turn on but this light wouldn’t so I ran to my dads across the hallway and knocked on his door and not only that but this is also a new place hes only lived here for a few weeks iv only been here like 3 times so anyways I ran knocking on his door and he said come in…so I cane in then closed his door shut behind then he said whats going on? And I was too scared to answer and couldn’t get the words out and just pointed instead to the door letting him know that something out here scared me, he told me well lay down in here then so I tried to sleep next to him, then for some reason I woke up and ran to his side and for some reason it felt like I didn’t wake myself up …it felt like I was being forced to get up..then I saw my dad awake with a shovel in his hand I asked whats with the shovel and he said so I dont fall asleep and I looked at his forehead and it was red like he was beating himself not to fall asleep then we heard the kitchen and living room make noise so we went and checked it out but nothing and after I woke up in my bed from this dream very confused.

    • This is a response to Kyle’s noise dream,
Kyle, in this dream when something really frightening happens, you do the strategy that works for you which is to get support from your dad, which in the inner world, is getting a part of you that is really strong and courageous to go after the danger. Your father tries to beat himself to stay up which is like making every effort to keep you safe. While it is positive to have a supportive father, the two of you don’t seem to be able find out what the danger is specifically. This would leave you in a kind of a hyper-vigilant state.

This indicates that something happened in the past maybe to your father that keeps him in that state and now you because of learning the pattern from him. The thing that you need to be able to do is to get to some positive energy which is peaceful and calm like a tranquil state. This, in turn, will allow you to get to where you are truly wanting to go. The trouble with the hyper-vigilant state is that it has you constantly looking for protection from danger kind of like returning from war and still being in a war-like state.

  8. Hi, so I recently had a dream that I was taken and held hostage from my 2 best friends that I am no longer friends with them because they turned their backs on me about 3 weeks ago. They took me and kept me for hours and I always tried to run and could never make it out but one day I got out and just ran with someone else I had met and then this guy stopped us and showed us a paper with two names and told us he had two names. It was weird because we didn’t know him and so I wanted to do is run. Anyway what does this mean?

    • This is a response to Melissa’s dream.
Hi Melissa, In this dream the relationship you were in with the two girls was as if you were being held hostage. This means that you either do what they want you to do or they kill the relationship which is what they did. What you just want to go do is run away because of the pain. What you need to run toward and develop in yourself is represented in the guy. The guy represents masculine energy which means the ability to stand up for yourself and be more assertive in your relating. When you develop this aspect of yourself, you won’t be so vulnerable to girls who are basically using you. Developing these abilities is no easy manner, but it is important that you work really hard on them because once you get them, your relationships will be amazing.

  9. A few years back I had a nightmare. Me, my dad and sister were in our house. It was dark and we were waiting for my mum to return home from work so we could eat dinner. Eventually it was time her bus would be arriving so I went to meet her at the bus stop. To get to the bus stop however you had to walk down one side of a wall to the bottom, and then turn, so you were on the other side of the wall. The bus stop was about halfway along the wall. I was about a quarter of the way down the opposite side of the wall from the bus stop when two men jumped over holding my mums purse and a bloody crowbar. I quickly crossed the road and hid behind a parked car but one of them had noticed the movement. They crossed the road and as one said ‘What’ve we got here’ as he lifted the crowbar above his head. I woke up at that point and cried before shouting on my dad. He comforted me and sent me back to sleep and I slept the rest of the evening. The next night though, I had the same dream. I had it for about 4 nights. On the day after the 4th night me and my dad were making our way into the supermarket when the two men from my dream walked out wearing the exact same clothes they had been wearing in my dream. I was so scared and I kept asking my dad to phone the police. I genuinely thought we had let two killers go. The weirdest thing about it is I had never seen the men before. After I saw them that day I have never had the dream again, nor have I seen them in person?

    • This is a response to Megan’s dream,
Hi Megan, In your dream your mom is attacked by two men using a crowbar to try to get to her purse. In real life, after your dad comforts you, you and your dad go the supermarket, see the men, but nothing happens. What this shows you is that in terms of inner kinds of energy, your mother’s energy invites attacks, but your father’s energy keeps the attacks from happening. What it means to you, at this time in your life, is that you need to study your dad and his energy and then begin developing those qualities within yourself. When you do this, you will be relatively safe wherever you do. I do not know what those qualities are exactly, but it probably has a lot to do with being really strong inwardly.

  10. This is for Tashha,
Being pregnant in a dream means that you are pregnant with positive possibilities which means that you are seeing the future in a positive way and are ready to really go for it. Driving means that you are taking action to get the possibilities that you want to do. Your fiance protecting you seems to be a normal thing, not exclusive.

  11. It was a short dream.
I was pregnant in my dream
I was driving my 2 beautiful little girls to my mom’s. My fiancee didn’t want me driving cause I was pregnant but I wasn’t even showing yet. He was very happy and very protective of us. Then I just woke up after that feeling very happy.

  12. I had this dream. Last night and I was about to get married. I was putting on my wedding dress and seeing. How I was looking. So all of a sudden I went out side and I was walking on. A pier. And as I was waking my dress didn’t seem to fit me so i just kept walking and zipping up my dress. Then all of a sudden it fit me again. So i just wkept walking and was at the end of the pier and I was looking out at the pond so out of no where. These alligators came .They were huge. They were so big they were breaking the pier as if they didn’t won’t me to cross back over to the other side. So I just went for it and leaped over them to make it and as I was running I hear my sister calling my name and when I looked up she was in one of their mouthes. And when I tried to get her my dream ended. Could you please help me understand what was going on . Thanks

  13. My 16 year old daughter had a dream that my husband ( her stepfather ) had murdered me for $10,000 and she had to get a job and take care of her 3 younger siblings.

    • This is a response to Mrs. White’s dream,
Hi Mrs. White, A murder in a dream means that the ending a relationship as if you are killing the positive relationship between two people. Being killed for money means that he was trying to kill the part of you that was your true self for his own gain. What she is fearful of is having to rescue the situation by looking after the other children, protecting them. What she needs is to be able to live her own life by giving birth to her true self, who she is meant to be. Ask her to write me if she has questions about how to do this. Basically she needs to see how to go about finding her true self and then learning how to work with it.

  14. I had a dream that me and my bf were making out.The next thing I know , all of the sudden he has lice! Then my dream turns into a nightmare. I’m afraid of him know. In the dream. We don’t speak at all. PLEASE help me!!! Tell me what it means please!!!!

    • This is a response Spenser’s (Rebecca?) dream
In this dream what happens to you is that you are really intimate with your boyfriend, but then when you see lice, the dream goes bad and turns into a nightmare. This is because in real life you have a tendency to take a relatively small and harmless thing and the blow it up way out of proportion. Lice are easy to deal with and easy to get. What you need to do to make the relationship really work is do exactly the opposite which is to take a small positive that you see in him or others and then blow it up way out of proportion. It will be amazing for you, if you do this. It won’t be easy because you have a really bad habit the other way like many other people do. When you go the other way into the positive, you will have such great relationships, that you won’t believe it.

  15. Hi Richard!

I had a dream where i was on a space station/ship that was so large it was like a city. There were malls and shops and a university where i and everyone else was to complete space studies. My baby son was also in my dream and was in childcare while i studied. I was experimenting with gravity with a couple other people. I then found myself hugging a man and feeling loved, and a man from a distance took a photo of us without permission and i thought ” my husband wont mind, this is innocent” then i went to pick up my son from childcare but they said my mother has him so i got on a train ( there were trains to get across the space ship )and saw them there. There were 2 balloons on his pram red and blue. In the dream i was happy. I would really appreciate your take on this. Thank you!

    • This is a response to Sandra’s dream,
Hi Sandra, Space station dreams that are positive mean that you are thinking way out to the future in the most positive way you can and then everything becoming true. This is absolutely the way you should practice your life and your daily living. Think really as positively as you can about the distant future. I have a lot of stories I could tell you about how this has worked in my life, but there is not time here to do it. You will get incredible results when you think optimistically like this. Try staying away from doomsdayers.

  16. Dream my boyfriend having a relationship with my sister infront my eyes and i had act like its not hurting me,when its killing me inside. I always have this dreams like he always deceiving me. I love him so much. He loves me also. But why i always dream he’s leaving me

    • This is a response to Anonymous,
The problem in dream is not that your boyfriend is having a relationship with your sister. The problem is that when you are hurt, you are just trying to hide it. The reason that you dream he is leaving is because you do not know how to deal with hurt very well in your life so you keep imagining him leaving which would be really hurtful to you. I am going to tell you just a little about hurt. Hurt from someone else or yourself always requires an act of forgiveness and then opens up something brand new in you. In real life if he were to have a relationship with your sister, the solution would be to leave him and then deal with the hurt, but in dream life you have to learn how forgive and then open yourself to something new. What is the new thing? The new thing has nothing to do with him. It has to do with something that wants to open in your life that is not at all related to being in love with him. It probably has to do with learning some new skills or developing a profession. The first thing is to be honest about how you hurt yourself by not developing your capacities. Then forgive yourself and start developing them. Your relationship will then come into balance.

  17. Hi Richard
i met a girl, she asked me to the her on a drive .we reached a park with a swimming pool alongside which a lot of children were sitting ,who were all looking at me.I tried to reverse the car ,but it got stuck ,I got out of the car and the car skidded and went into the pool ,next I see is the car getting picked up by a crane while that girl and a television are still in the pool

    • Hi Dhruv,
The goal of the dream for you is to learn how to be closer to women. The steps are first to visualize the kind of relationship that you want to have with a woman and then go for it like what happens of the two of you being in the car. The swimming pool and children mean that the first steps in a relationship are being playful and building rapport with each other in a child-like manner. Water is a relational element so being in water means you have a lot of playful give and take with each other. The problem for you is that you didn’t really know what to do after making the first steps with the woman so you everything went bad. It usually takes a lot of courage to take first steps with a woman, which you seem to have, but you don’t have the second steps which are how to build a nice rapport and trust with her. That is where you need to work.

  18. Hi Nikki,
The problem that you are having according to the dream, is that you believe that your boyfriend wants you to be someone different than who you really are. So what I recommend is that you ask yourself inside if that is really true or not. If it is true, then the relationship with him is probably not the right for you. You are fearful that he wants you to be someone who you are not, probably someone that makes it a lot easier for him to not have to do any of his own inner work to change himself. What you have to do is to assess whether this is true or not. If it is not true, then it means that you can be yourself with him and the fear is only imagination. My guess is that it is true, but don’t know for sure.

    Richard
