Hi Richard I just had a dream were I was in the army in a five man team. I was the only girl and we seamed to all get along great. We were holed up in sone apartment building the of our guys were out doing rounds. For some reason I had civilian clothes on and the captain radioed to gear up for an assignment. As I looked for my boots and pulled them on he explained the situation and some one had to go do the security rounds. I volunteered to go . When they returned I had a gun hanging from a vest by aone of those mountain climbing clip things and was thinking how useful it was.
When I was walking the streets were covered in sand and no one was out. The street only went straight and to the right. To my surprise when I turned to walk to the right my dad was standing there smiling (and he doesn’t smile much) so I walked over and said hi. He Walked With me down the road talking about how I joined the army and how there would be tines when I would have to make a decision and there wouldn’t be a good one to chose from. He also mentioned that my uniform fit me well. Then a black guy in an older red car drove by making cat calls and yelling obscene remarks. I had the feeling like it wasn’t the first tine this guy has made those remarks so I told him to leave, he proceeded to say he knew I wouldn’t use my gun. I looked up and didn’t see anything in the sky and shot two warning shots, the man drove off.
There was a humming sound and I looked up to see a helicopter trying to stay up but I had shot it and it was swinging around. I was scared and didn’t know if I should call it in. I kept saying ‘oh god’ and my dad told me it was okay that I didn’t shoot it down on purpose and that the helicopter would be okay after landing. I argued that I shot our teams helicopter down a n d that I would be court martialed , dad said I wouldn’t be and no one would care because he would have shot the two warning shots also. I decided to report to my team what happened and as I held the radio I looked up and the helicopter was coming down towns me. My dad said not to worry or run that it wouldn’t hit us. I kept walking and all of a sudden it was a bit dark. The helicopter fell on top of us, I was still alive and to scared to look to my right at my dad sine he wasn’t saying anything. I grabbed my radio and told my team that a helicopter came down and I was trapped under it. Then I woke up really scared.
My dad is still alive and I’ve never been in the military. Any insight you have i would appreciate

Hi Stephanie,
The army team is a metaphor for the type of capacity inside of you that is being called out to be developed. It is not to join the army, but to develop the capacity to go out in the world as if you were with a team of soldiers. This capacity will give you the confidence to deal with whatever happens like guys making cat calls. It won’t bother you at all. The problem is that you are fearful that you are going to do something that causes bad things to happen like the helicopter falling on you. This is just because you don’t have the confidence to have the capacity yet.
The way you can develop this capacity is to do a lot of difficulty team building kinds of things which maybe you have already done. The goal is to be confident with it. Then you will be able to be of great service to others because you won’t have fear to go into difficult situations.
In my dream the door bell rang , when I opened the door Jesus was standing there in bright clothing with a glow around him. I reached out to him back I remember not being about to touch him. I think my subconscious told me not to touch him because I started to reach for him and I stopped myself. Anyway, Jesus started praying for me ( no one else could see him ) in the middle of the prayer Jesus laid his hand on my chest before he end his prayer. Then he left …. I can’t remember what Jesus said in the prayer but I do remember feeling like he came give me conformation

The most important thing you did in this dream was to allow Jesus to put his hand on your chest. This means that you heart needs some healing. His love will be your help. It will transform your self. It is as if you have to let yourself feel the love inside of yourself and then you will be able to give it out to others.
I am having a reoccurring dream over and over since I lost my best friend. A year ago on this day 9/11 she passed away due to sickness. It’s been really really hard for me to let her go and to be able to cope with her death. But in my dreams she appears and I see her she then smiles at me then turns to dust and goes away. What does this mean?

Hi Lisa, The reason you are holding onto the grief so strongly is that you had something very special with your friend. She appears in the dream to let you know that she is still there for you even though she has gone on to the next world. She is still close to you. You can rely on her, but now you have to do for yourself inside of yourself what you had with her which is to be a really good and loyal and supportive friend to yourself. You have to be your own best friend. It is not an easy journey, but you can call on her for help. Mostly being a good friend is shutting off the negative voice in your head.
I just had a dream that I was watching a video of a baby (from a girl I hooked up with a few times but never had sex with and her new boyfriend) that was premature. (Was not in real life) the video was of the baby on a table hooked up to machines as a preme, then getting bigger and healthier looking as the video goes on. The video shows the baby boy on the table next to a tree that was getting chopped down by 2 mexican men. Then somehow one of the men reached up into part if the tree they were cutting down and grabbed the baby boy from it thinking it was dead they threw it into the wood pile from the cut down pieces of tree which then turned into big 6×6 pieces stacked up. The video showed the baby crawling out of the woodpile barely showing it’s head while the workers kept cutting down the tree next to it. I somehow got to the baby right as it was sticking it’s head out and pulled it from the pile while the workers finished cutting down the tree. It then turned into me laying on a bed outside holding the baby as the parents showed up and me telling them I found their baby. After some explaining what happened and them telling me they had been looking for the baby for a while and me saying I thought it was missing for like 2 hours, they went on the news again outside thanking me, but they called me Edward James Olmos. But when standing there in front of the news people and community it was an older black lady resembling morgan freeman….. can you or anybody please tell me what the heck it means?

This dream shows that you have the incredible gift of being able to take something, like a project or something like that, this is premature, and rescue it and nurture it, so that it can have life and grow as it should. It means that you have the great ability to hold onto an idea and give it life, by letting go of people trying to destroy it. This has to do with worthwhile projects, not necessarily ones for material gain only.
In my dream me, my wife, and 2 others were in robot suits n was goin to play hide and seak in the woods when we all took off i was behind being the seeker and as i was walking down a hill i ran in to a building and met a cat i started to pet it and it tryd to smack me in the face bt it didn so i smacked it n it went higher in the building so i grabbed a couple bags and started walking out to go on with my hunt as i was walking i was tryn to hide from people that was at the top of the hill and was almost spotted so when they turned their back i took off into the woods and after i got in the woods i heard cops sirens so i ran further went into a field and they got real close to me real fast n they had brought dogs with them so i ran further to try n lose them but they kept gettn closer n closer so i ran as fast as the suit would let me and eventually got to a big field with houses and a road so i ran up the road and got to a high way n started running with the traffic n ended up in a truck n started driving heading back home and i woke up is not the first time iv had this dream bt this time the feeling was different idk what it means or why i was having it but i would like to know could you explain why i had it n what it means

Hi Joey, The problem in the dream is at the beginning. You are your wife and others are in robot suits. This means that your life is being controlled by others as if your were a robot. The cat means that you need to become more independent in your thinking, but you don’t do a good job interacting with the independence. When you are trying to get away from the robotic thing in your life, you get chased and then try to get away.
The key figure in the dream is actually the cat. The quality you need is independence, but it probably does not mean rejecting everything else to become independent. You should learn independence and then gradually integrate it into the life you have already in an ecological fashion that you keep the best of both situations. Then you will be able to get where you are truly supposed to be headed.

I am a woman in my early 50’s and I had a dream last night about meeting
my youngest sister in law who has helped me a lot that I have not seen for sometime now. In my dream, I dreamt that she asked me to do something in her car, not sure what but definitely not to drive her car but then I somehow mistook the foot brake for the accelerator and stepped on it.
As it slowly moved forward, I saw her and another man I don’t know who,
waving and asking me to stop but I was nervous and did not stop even though I tried. So I just wonder what does it mean.

Hi Sally, The accelerator of the car would mean that you mistakenly are trying to speed her up in her life to get somewhere, maybe like somewhere financially, but what she needs is brakes, which is patience and understanding. Patience is the quality that will make everything in your life work for you. To get to patience you have to stop the pressure of time and wait for the right moment to do things. That is the message.

I blocked my cheating ex everywhere, and we havent had any contact for the past 2 weeks. Lately, I’ve been dreaming about him and it’s making me upset all the time. Last night really upset me. I dreamt that i was pregnant then he was with another girl. Although Im not quite sure who the father is, but I went to him, got really sad since he was with another girl, but he was sad too, because he said he still loves me. I ran away, and went to the elevator, he ran after me and hugged me and told me he wants me. After awhile, the dream changed, there was a girl who was pregnant and that girl is his girlfriend. I havent seen him in years in this part of the dream and I was really hurt when i found out his ex girlfriend was pregnant. I left the room to text him to tell him congratulations on his baby, but I wasnt able to text him as the phone vanished. I went back to the room to talk to the girl and confess my feelings about my ex but the girl wasnt there anymore, other people said she left already.
I’m really really upset because I know i am still not over him. We both talked about having a family in the future, but things changed when he cheated on me. I still hate him for cheating on me, but I cant change the fact that I love him so much and saw a future with him.

Good decision to leave him. He was cheating and the dream indicates he would still do it only with many promises for both women. That is how he stays in the relationship. He hooks you into the possibility of a positive future so that he can get love from you, but can’t be faithful. It is hard to let go of the feelings you have for him because you have a very attracted heart. It is difficult to let go and then go for other relationships. It will happen only gradually. You should try to get involved in service and exercise to let go of the some of the excess negative energy, but you can be absolutely shure that you did the right decision.

I had this dream where I was inside a house late a night with an acquaintance. We were lying down and I was about to go to sleep but then this person shook me and pointed towards the window. At the window was this Owl. It was like we both knew the owl was there for me and we both talking and admiring this Owl and its beauty.
There was a sliding glass door and I opened it slightly and the owl tried to get into the house. It stuck its head through the small opening but I was slightly worried about letting it in.
Anyways I reached out and patted it on the head. I couldn’t believe I was patting an owl. All of a sudden it bit me! But it wasn’t like to hurt me. The owl was quite gentle and it didn’t hurt me at.
After I pushed the owls head put of the opening and closed the glass door… then I woke up

Owls are symbols of inner wisdom and insight. This is because they can see in the darkness and find what they need even though they are surrounded by darkness. The nature of the dream is that you are a bit cautious of letting your inner wisdom in even though it does not harm you. Hello I have been having two consistent dreams. First dream I dream I am being possessed by a demon and kill my whole family. 2nd dream is I dream I am pregnant and a african woman looks like a 1930-1940 nurse or midway puts her hands on my stomach and starts chanting. what does all this mean? I am 33yrs old and I cannot have children I am tied with an ovary removed. I have also been married for a year with a wonderful family that I wouldnt harm. These dreams disturb me so much it is hard for me to sleep. Thank you for any help. 🙂

Hi Paula, In the first dream possession is a symbol that your ego, or your dark side, has a negative energy in it which is fear based that makes you pull away from your family or stay away from them. This kind of thing usually begins because of the way you were treated in your family growing up. It has something to do with your capacity to be loving and generous with your love. When you are possessed with the negative energy your behavior is not conducive to love and unity.
The second dream, where you are pregnant means that you are symbolically pregnant with new positive energy. It is likfe you are going to have a new birth of positive energy where you will give out love like Africans give. The key is to being giving out more love by overcoming the negative energy inside.
I had a dream about water. I was a long and it was so much water I was stand in it. The mood was hitting the water. It was a deep blue,it was clam and steal. I was relax and felt safe… It was light motion and peaceful. Could you tell me what’s going on.. It been over 9 year’s since I had a water dream…!!!

Hi Sharon, Water is a relational element so when you have a water dream it has something to do with your relationships depending upon how the water is in the dream. In your dream it is deep blue and calm and still. This means that you can relax and be calm with people and then go really deep. This is such a great capacity and is so necessary in today’s world that is so often driven by material gain and speed and shallowness. Keep calm and go deep with others.

Me and my mom were walking through a thick rainforest and I lifted my shirt to find a circular object on my chest. My mom told me that it was a amoeba and that once they are attached it’s almost impossible to get off, and that they drain all the energy out of you. She ripped it off and ther was a hole were it’s tube like mouth went into my chest. It was very vivid and graphic. Then we came across this dog that looks exactly like my 7 week old puppy we got to day. We found another amoeba on the dog and pulled it out with the thing putting up a lot of resistance. When we finally got it out, the puppy threw up black tar like stuff, and had a big hole in his back.

The amoeba in the dream represents something that is small and negative like a virus. Despite it being small it drains all of your energy. So you have to go inside and think to yourself what that might be because the same thing that happens ot you also happens to the dog which is a symbol of your friendships. There is something small and negative that drains you and has a hard time leaving. For most people that kind of amoeba is a put down or a criticism. It is small but it can drain you and leave a whole in the relationships. The antidote to the amoeba is to let it go, let go of the put down and criticism, and instead do the opposite which is to find the positive in yourself and others. Then your life will be amazing.
I drempt of my partner was walking at back of a coach the boot lid came down and scooped him up inside the boot. Them I stopped the driver got him out .then I was in a room talking to people but I had my tongue pierced again so partner didn’t know but I kept loosing the bar and balls.and the dream was on daylight (which is the first time I’ve ever drempt and it being daylight )

The first part of the dream shows that you are good at getting your partner out of the trouble he gets in, but the second part shows that when you try to communicate with others, you have some concern about how others will take what you are saying. It shows that when you realize that you are really talented, then you will be able speak really well and bring everything to light.
I just had the craziest dream… in a house that was like the big house (my house before the one I live in now), but not quite. I heard someone near the front door, but I was asleep in my dream and woken up and saw what looked like a police officers shadow, so I just sat on the floor… I could overhear him saying to someone either on a radio or a phone to go around the back and that the stuff was in the walls. As I was sitting there he busted in and as I sat there, I began to slump and felt drugged. So, he walked right past me and then I was laying down face up and a tv turned on on the ceiling. In the dream I was trying to yell to let him know I was there (although I am sure he knew I was there) …. as he walked into the other room, don’t know what room, but feel like it was the kitchen…. I was finally able to yell help and woke myself up…… so super vivid… I don’t think the guy and whoever he was talking to were LE…. I think someone planted stuff in my house in the dream and those were the guys who were coming to get it, not LE who thought I put something behind my walls….. side note of things going on in my life: My ex husband committed suicide last week and my adult daughters and I have been dealing with the emotions and trying to get things in order, we have been divorced for a long time. I had a very bad break up with my boyfriend the week prior to this.

Hi Jennifer, A house in a dream is a symbol of your own self. So in your dream your self is being investigated for illegal substances by the police. Your response is the most important thing because you are depressed and somewhat drugged. This is because that is what happened to you in your previous relationships. It was as if your ex husband and boyfriend planted drugs in you so that you would not be able to be your true self.
It is as if you are vulnerable to being drugged in your relationships. The drug is probably the romance, but like a drug like heroin it gets less and less positive over time because the real character of the person which is negative shows itself more and more. So the big key for you is to go for a combination of love and positive upstanding characters in your relationships and not just love. Don’t believe that love will conquer all. It is not true. Love is good, but a person’s character is equally as important. You need both for a relationship to happen. When you have this idea, then you will be able to get out of the drugged feeling and be really awake in a positive life.
Dead spouse is playing in a tree and won’t come down but wants me to come up . My spouse killed himself.

Hi Tammy, the problem that your dead spouse had, according to the dream, is that he could not put roots into the ground and live a real life in the real world. He just wanted to play high up in the branches which means that he wanted a lot of freedom, etc., but couldn’t be real.
Life is a balance between the two because even though we are spiritual beings, we are also living in the material world. This means that we have to attend to that world as well. Your dream is there so that you will stay strongly rooted in your life and be real about the material world, something your husband couldn’t do .
Hi, I don’t remember how my whole dream went. All I remember is that part that made me wake up. My brother was poking me with a needle on my back and I was trying to stop him but he was stronger than me. It was starting to hurt and I started crying and when he finally let go I could see I was bleeding and I was in a lot of pain. That’s when I woke up and realized I was in fact crying and crying quite hysterically. If you could please help me interpret this dream, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Hi Sam, Being poked in the back by a needle means that your brother is hurting you by saying a lot of mean things to you. He won’t stop and it causes you a lot of pain. To solve the dream you have to be able to turn off his voice in your head as if he is not even saying anything. People who say mean things are really hurting a lot inside and try to get it out by being mean to others. You can just turn off the mean voices as if they are not there and then turn on the really positive ones. That will make a big difference.
The dream is about how your boyfriend feels about his cousin as if he is a worm. A worm is someone who tries to make his way into people’s lives without being useful or beneficial in anyway. They find a way in through whatever opening. Really he is like a poisonous little snake.
A positive worm does the opposite. It works really hard digging to give the soil air spaces. So really when you let go of the way your boyfriend’s cousin is and work really hard in a grounded way then it helps to make space for all the things you want to do.
i dreamed that a worm was on the car and my boyfriend got the worm and threw it on a cousin that he doesn’t talk to anymore and it turned into a dead baby snake
I had entertained forms of escapism (running away) when the criticism was unbearable. My uncle said he’d send the police to get me if that happened, he said loudly that he knew I was eavesdropping and continued with his words. Since I was 9-11 or something. Entertainment had been a form of escapism from tensions in the family and stress from school performance and my own towering expectations I can never fully meet.
The self imposed expectations like the ones you have are so large because you believe that if you achieve something big, then the criticisms will stop. You can think of your family as a bunch of werewolves who flip back and forth. Then you can find positives about yourself and lessen the expectations that unrealistic. No matter what you do they are going to criticize you because they are werewolves. You can gradually just turn off their voices as if you cannot hear them in real life or in your head. Then you can remind yourself of your positive qualities with your own voice. Eventually you will be able to say positive things to them but only when you learn how to turn off the critical voices.
When I say my aunt took part in making my emotional wreck, it means she said some things that really offended me. Being me, I’m more sensitive than I show and criticism can really play up on my emotions when they seem personal or offensive in anyway. But apart from those few incidents I hold no dislike or hatred towards this aunt. Her husband on one occasion said some things that really upset me – it was totally unexpected, he just snapped. Her son criticized me in public for me throwing a food item away and how ungrateful I was at a shop which made me feel embarrassed, angry and upset…I ate everything on my plate 98% of the time during the holidays (and usually I finish much less) and yet….I was still too wasteful for him to hold back his words. Nobody could understand that I threw the food item in the bin because everyone there at the time insisted that I eat the egg, and so I felt that I would be criticized for leaving it on the plate. Earlier on in the holiday, I already enough of criticism. I disliked the food item and threw it, thinking, if nobody found it, nobody would bother me about it. I explained myself to my aunt’s son but he kept repeating the point that I was ungrateful and even told some stories at the shop as well on the car.
But one uncle and his wife were the culprit of devastating this holiday. They offended me and hurt my feelings like only few could. And even then it was too much, it was too unexpected, especially from someone I don’t have much conflict from in the first place (I act quite neutral with everyone in general, with a bias to my aunts). My mother in particular was supposedly the source of my uncles’ accusations (me being unhelpful and unkind) but my mother denies such a thing. One thing is for sure though. She insisted she was going leave me at my native land (where I’m having my holiday) for my education and their sake. It felt possible yet impossible. I eventually left the place with more eagerness than with continuing the holiday.

The work that you need to do with yourself is twofold. First you need to learn the process of being detached from the things that your relatives say about you that is negative. Their intentions are really bad so the criticisms mean nothing. It is not easy work to do because we all want love from the people who are supposed to be close to us. It just shows that really and truly they are unhappy inside. The second thing is to begin focusing on what is positive inside of you because you obviously have a lot of amazing gifts that need to come out.
You probably could benefit from some help so if you have a good counseling service that would be great for you. It is especially difficult when the people causing you the pain are living with you.
