I am from INDIA. My problem is that whenever i take any life threatening dream and after that when i suddenly wake up then i feel a very unbearable sensation in both of my thighs upper side. It feel like hundreds of flesh eater aunt eating my thighs. It last for 30 sec to one minute. But that duration is very uneasy for me. Can you tell me what is the reason behind it and how can i solve it?

Hi Bhanu, Thighs are the biggest muscle group in the body. Metaphorically it is where you get your empowerment. So the burning in the thighs that you have means that you have problem with empowering yourself when you have a life threatening dream. The solution to a life threatening dream is to first let go of the fear that is associated with it by replacing the image you have in your mind of the negative situation with the most positive optimistic vision of the future that you can think of. That is the solution. It takes a certain amount of self-discipline to do this because the threatening dream seems so real, but when you practice making a very positive image of the future everything changes and you get empowered. Try it even if at first you don’t believe it will help. Believe me it will work for you.
Hello, I am quite curious about this recurring dream I have had at least 5 to 7 times. Ive never had the same dream so many times. In the dream I am in the woods trying to get to a white pickup truck but I can never get to it and cannot see it. However I have seen other people I know get to the truck in my dream.

Hi Maureen, When you are lost in the woods and cannot get to where you want to go, it means that you cannot see the forest for the trees. Getting to where you want to go in life requires that you have more perspective as if you were an eagle flying high or you were on a high mountain. The woods are great for when you need to have inner growth, but they are not good for longer term direction which is what you need right now.
Dear Richard, I had a dream last night that a guy told me that I was going to get married soon and my last name will be Stuart. I walked to my parents old house and there was a lot of birds on the porch, the birds were all sorts of colors some were blue, purple, yellow, black,white, Grey etc. I walked inside the old empty house, and went into my old empty teenage room and one of the birds was on my leg I shook it off and it fell and died that particular bird was grey and black in color.

Hi Richard. It woulld mean so much to me if you could interpret my dream. In short form :
I dreamt I was babysitting a child that i don’t know in real life. It was a made up character. He was on the floor passed out going in and out of consciousness. I called the ambulance and was describing on the phone that he was in and out of consciousness and they sent police to arrest me claiming i was lying about him being partially conscious. The police had guns and demanded i lay down to be cuffed and searched. They were wearing orange jump suits and i was yelling out ” it was a misunderstanding” later on I also saw an ant on my hand. I would love your help thank you !

Hi Sandi, Babysitting a child in real life means temporarily taking care of someone else’s child. So the problem or the issue is that when you try to babysit other people’s problems as in taking care of their problems temporarily the problem comes and goes in your mind. When you try to get help for them, they put the responsibility for the problem on you rather than taking care of it themselves or taking responsibility for their own care. It is tricky business. What you need to do with people when you are supporting them is to not babysit the problem which means to take the problem from them for a little while. What you need to do is support them as they go through it making sure that they understand that it is not your problem, but theirs because in the end they will be left with it no matter what you do. There are some really positive things you can do to support people like listening to how they are feeling and reassuring them that they will be able to make it through the difficult no matter how challenging it is. You just cannot take it on yourself.

I’m 36 and single. A Christian.
I have a sister who is about 2 years younger than I and is married. I have had some dreams recently involving her. I had a dream in which I saw myself having sex with her. I just waived off the dream as one of those dirty and meaningless dreams and moved on, though I was perplexed.
Few days ago and not too long after the first dream, I had another dream in which I was hitting this same sister of mine on the cheek. I was furiously slapping her repeatedly but what I observed was that she didn’t feel any pain. The harder I hit her on the cheek to cause her to feel the pain, the feebly my hand seemed to be landing on her cheek and the more she appeared not pained! I have had this same dream a second time now.
Mr Richard, what I find peculiar about these dreams involving my sister is that they had always come immediately after some mid-nights of praying, seeking God’s guidance for a partner in marriage! What could it all mean and imply?

Hi Clement, It is really interesting that you have been praying for a marriage partner. These dreams give you exactly what you need inside of yourself to prepare yourself for marriage. The first dream about having sex with your sister is actually a really positive rather than a dirty dream. When you dream about having sex with anyone, it means that the person you are having sex with has a particular spiritual quality that you need. In this case what you need to be a good marriage partner. So this means that your sister has something you need.
The next dream tells you what she has. She has the ability to “turn the other cheek” even as Jesus has taught. This means that she has the virtue of forgiveness. When Christianity came to the world, it was unlike Judaism which was a bunch of disorganized tribes without law and order. Jesus came into a world that was highly structured and organized under the Roman Empire. He didn’t have to create a lot of laws to order the society because it was done already. What He brought were the teachings of love and forgiveness. It is what makes Christianity so simple and yet so powerful. Of course throughout the ages Christianity did quite the opposite, but when you apply the teaching of forgiveness in a marriage, it is unbelievable how positive it is. It also helps with tolerance and acceptance of others. My experience with the Christian community is that when they focus on love and forgiveness, they are capable of doing just about anything. Forgiveness is especially good when you have been hurt. Your sister is a role model for you.
I have been having dreams aince the last 3 days and now they r spooking me out because they seem they appear like some sort of vague story.. The second dream appears to start from the point where the first dream ended. So here’s my dream:
First dream: I’m appearing in front of the mirror wearing something sort if sports bra which has big stones of ugly brown and yellow colour over it.. The brown ones mostly resembled cockroaches. I try removing them but they were stuck to my body firmly and it hurt when I tried pulling them out.. Anyways, I think that its some sort of a disease i have and pull on a t-shirt and go to college
Second dream:
I am sitting inside the classroom and studying when suddenly very small brown roaches start crawling out of my t-shirt near neck and arms.. I start screaming shrugging them off. This dream woke me up.
Third dream:
I am again standing in front of the mirror and desparately try to remove one of the roach type stones stuck on my body but but I see that thick blood
oozed out of it leaving a res scar in my body. My room is filled with small roaches.. I try to remove the whole thing of as if u r pulling out ur t-shirt. And it comes out without giving me any scars.. But that one scar remained.. I see myself, then, going to my mom and showing that horrible thing stuck to my body.. N then I woke up..
I know the dream is very weird and some might laugh at what I saw.. But to tell u the truth, its been freaking me out and I can’t keep my mind out of it.. I hv been thinking what in the hell would happen in the next dream.. 😨😨😨

Hi Avikaur, In this dream the roach like things and the cock roaches is that you let small things bug you. The more you let small things bug you, the more under your skin people and things get. Then it is like you are going out of your mind. What you need is to let little things so that you can pay attention to the bigger more important things in life. When you can pay attention to the bigger things, then your life will come into balance and things won’t bug you so much.
I had a dream that my teacher got me pregnant and wanted to keep the kid. Then he told me hed be back. Somehow his brother finds out about the pregnancy and comes over to my house to keep me company while i wait for my teacher to come back, while im waiting i star t feeling anxious and scared like something has happened to him and his brother hugs me in a comforting way. Then my teacher comes and asks me to move in with him so that he can take care of me and our unborn child. Keep in mind that no one at my school knows who got me pregnant considering im about 2-3 months. Then the next day i have another dream that my teacher wants me to marry him once the baby is born so that we can be a happy family. What does this mean??

Hi Eiza, A dream like this means that in your school life the teacher is trying to get something from teaching you, that is, he is not teaching for your sake, for your learning, he is teaching so that when you get good grades, it is like his reward rather than your achievements from working hard. He is selfish. You have the dream so that you can realize that maybe some of things he asks you to do has nothing to do with your learning only his own recognition.
Hi, I’ve been recording my dreams lately and I’m a bit curious with what they mean even though it’s really random.
We were in a and i was with some friends. Not sure who but we were drinking in this place for the first time. The guy offered us some shots and then it didn’t really hit us because it tasted like mints. So the bar tender said we can have our second drink if we ask the 5th person to our left to get us a drink. Then it was a gay guy and one of my friends asked him and both of them laughed. Later on I needed to go because my dad might catch me then I was running everywhere trying to find him then he said that he was in this place with a cube logo. I was freaking out because I thought it was the place i just went to. So i was running everywhere finding this logo and my shoes even broke. In my dream I was running so fast I can still feel how each step felt until now. When I found him he was in a restaurants with the executives from a korean company.(i really dont know. Its so weird) And when I was about to go in I was arrested. Then I was like a criminal, I was gonna be executed, escaped the execution A couple of times maybe 4 but I only remembered the last one. i saw a girl with a motor cycle/bike (it had pedals) so when I was about to be executed I was cheering with them (the people who were gonna execute me) sarcastically. Then when they didnt expect it I suddenly ran to the bike and off I went. I went down the hill(it had a really small walking path so most of it was grass and plants. I just kept going and going then this king guy (he looked like captain hook) was chasing me everywhere. There was a part in the path where it was like little canals (drawing) this chase lasted really long in my dream. then it suddenly became a shopping mall. i hid in one of the clothing racks but it wasnt clothes it was mattresses or pillows. My friends who were with the king (they were a lot) already saw me but didnt say a word. A few minutes passed and they still haven’t. Found me. Then they almost did so I ran so fast again. I jumped to another store from a ceiling . Their walls were made of of mattresses and didnt go all the way through the ceiling so I entered above the walls. The first store was empty but the second store was like this shop who sells chemicals. The clerck knew who I was and said he gave a chemical to ‘the guy before me’ that turned him invisible. He gave me the chemical(it was in a little bottle) then I slowly turned invisible. Suddenly the king ( captain hook) opened the door. But he didnt notice me cause I was already semi invisible except my face. I jumped to the store beside but i landed on the wall mattress which made it bend and the king saw it and jumped on the wall as well. My mouth and eyed could still be seen so I covered it with my hands then when he wasnt looking I dropped the chemical in my face and I was totally invisible. So he kept talking to the clerck and I went out to finally escape. Then a girl saw me(it was th e kings girlfriend or something i think) then she got me and said something about escaping. Turns out she has a chemical to make her fly then we went in the store with the clerck and the king in it and sneaked to the window and flew away. The chemical started to wear off and The king saw me and cursed me (idk why but here I was a boy) because I was with his girl. The end. I think we were going to neverland.
I have no idea if it means anything.It’s a bit childish, probably because I think childishly. So I hope you can tell me if it means anything.

This dream shows that you are really terrific at escaping. It probably is an ability that you developed from a very young age. The problem with it is that you are not getting anywhere positive in the dream. You are only getting better at escaping. The positive thing about the inner process of escaping is that you can get out of the kind of life that you don’t want to live or that others would have you live. Now that you know that can escape from a life you don’t want to live, then you can start finding the kind of life you would rather be in and then really go for it. It is almost like escaping, but instead of running away you are running toward the thing you are attracted to.
Hello, I would like any help with a dream that’s left my body with a shaky feeling all day. I had a dream that I was driving down a highway when all of the sudden tye road in front of me became really dusty and aggravating because I couldn’t see through it. Moments later a huge atomic mushroom cloud erupted right before my very eyes and I was absolutely terrified and thinking to myself “this is the end”. Moments later, everything goes black, I can’t move my body, the muscles in my body are tight and uncontrollable, I feel very light, and I’m hearing this weird external sound that kind of sounds like a bass repeatedly going into a lower pitch, kind of sounding like a plane falling downwards.. it also kind of sounded like something you’d hear in dubstep, I guess. Anyway, I thought/felt I had actually died and while struggling to move upwards, I feel something push me back down and a thought pops into my head that says “You are here to do things”. I have no idea what to think of this and I feel like I’m in shock.. this isn’t the first time I’ve had a dream about death either. I had anot her where a man was going to shoot me in the head, but I flinched and he ended up shooting me in the neck.. this resulted in me waking up to the feeling of my neck and body spazzing out uncontrollably for a few seconds

What I want you to do with this dream is to think of death in a positive light, not a negative one. Both in the metaphoric world and in the real world death is like a messenger of joy because it is taking you to a different place. What the dream says is the life road that you are driving on right now is going to blow up and you are going to die. That is a good thing in metaphoric terms. You are going to die to the life you are living so that you can live a new life. This dream gives you absolutely no clues as to what that new life is about. We know that it is going to be the opposite of an atomic explosion which means that is going to be really constructive and beneficial to others rather than destructive.
It probably doesn’t matter where you start because as soon as you start a constructive and beneficial path then you will be guided as to how to move forward.
I have a dream I was in the beach house and two of my friends came in where I was changing. It was weird because the beach house had a living room and bedroom. My friends where waiting on me telling to hurry up. O was trying to find something to wear. They went in the living room. I looked out the window and the water was coming closure to the house. I ran in the living room because my friends where about to leave. I looked up at the window in the living room. It was a person floating up. I told my friend not to open the door. She did and I thought the water will come in the beach house but it didn’t. It just stayed there like the door was still closed. A strange evil man came in and said the Germans are coming to take your phone and electronics. I was looking like he crazy. The man wasn’t even wet but he came out the water that was around the house. I told my friends to hide. I ran in the room and under the bed. I thought about my friends and came back to find them. They wasn’t there. The man was there and he said this is the end. He put his hands on top of my head. I couldn’t move it felt strange. I was on my knees praying closing my eyes. As I was doing this I could see my self sleeping trying to wake up moving my eye lids. I kept praying and woke up. Scared. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Hi Nesha: When you have a house in a dream, it is about yourself, as in your identity. In this case you are at a beach house. A beach house is more casual than other houses so this means that the thing you are trying to identify with is your casual, lighter more joyful self like you were living at the beach. You are trying to change in what you think is the right thing to wear at the beach when the negative things begin to happen. This is because you have an association in your mind that is based upon some negative experiences that something bad is going to happen that is going to end your lighter more casual self. I had a dream of ticks on my sisters sons chest of 20 month old. We are not talking in real life as we had a fall out and in my dream they wouldn’t listen when I said take him to hospital or to the doctors. I tried ringing 111 anyway and it didn’t work. The only other option was hospital. They just removed the ticks. They said their was about thirty ticks even though I saw less. They ticks didn’t break off and they removed them with a dot of water on the ticks and tweezers.

Hi Lisa: Ticks are little insects that burrow into the skin. They are metaphors for something really bothering him which is the negative energy that your sister has in her life. It affects him and gets under his skin. The healing for him is to take the bothering energy out which means that your sister needs to change. So you should try to do everything that you can to heal the rift between the two of you. You should take the initiative for the sake of her son.
I have a dream where I am a cop and I have two partners and one is a good guy and the other one is a dirty cop and we investigate parents that kill their kids. We go to a house and my bad partner is already there and he seems to be stuck in the middle of a handshake because their arms are crossed together, I turn around and go back into the house and tell the wife to come outside and I arrest the father and when I turn around to the wife her arms are behind her back and I sensed she had knives and I told my good partner to step away from her I told her to drop them and she said what very innocent and I shot her 2 times in both arms and then cuffed her, the husband said you’ll never find his body and I turned around to a bush and there were the boys arms they were crossed extended they had been previously sewn onto the father then he said arms won’t be enough and I looked up into the trees and his torso was strung up by string and the dad said his front neighbors killed his kids and his next door neighbor too and I could see them both listening through the cracks and I played it cool and simply said your crazy they are good people and drug the couple into my cop car and I still felt in danger I felt sick to my stomach paralyzed and then I woke up sweating and wanting to scream but only exhaled. This happens all the time help I’m afraid to sleep anymore.

Hi Julie: This dream shows you an ability that you have which aren’t comfortable with yet, but when you use it correctly, it will help you out a lot in life. The cops are a metaphor for being able to discover when something really bad is happening. The dream is graphic, but in real life there a lots of situations where you know that what you are being told and what is really happening are two different things because people are trying to hide the real truth. When you are a good cop internally, it means that you can sense what the real thing is that is going on, and then act on it however it deems appropriate. Right now seeing bad stuff really is sickening to you, but you are going to see a lot of it in your life so it is better to learn how to be more detached from the horror of it. When you are detached, you are actually much more effective. This used to happen to me in meetings when I knew people were not telling the truth and trying to set me up. With careful and wise inner and outer investigation I could find out the truth and then pick the right strategy to deal with it. Oftentimes the people doing the dirty deeds are really powerful and mean so you have to learn to be wise in what you do with it. All in all this is a good ability because most people are easily blinded. You are not.
I dream about my grandparents house a lot. I had wonderful time in this house but anyway I dream about the house all the time but it’s empty and I’m climbing the stairs what does it mean.

Hi LaShawn: When you dream about your grandparent’s house, it means that you are going into the inherited part of yourself that you got from grandparents. Going upstairs means that you are going to your higher self, the higher self that is like the best part of your grandparents selves. The fact that it is empty means that you are just really beginning the work inside yourself. It is not difficult work. You just have to be like your grandparents. For instance, my grandfather was friendly with everyone he met. So when I dream about him, I know that that is what I need to develop in myself. I just remember how he was and try to be the same way.

Forgiveness is one of the key processes people need in order to make their relationships really work well. Among other things it is allows you to overlook the faults of others and then focus on the positive. When you do this, you take responsibility for your own life and not expect the other person to make it special for you. There are certain acts that you can forgive, but you might have to leave the relationship like unfaithfulness in a marriage or stealing, but in general forgiveness guarantees long term success.

I am currently in so much stress about my dreams. I am 23. I love my boyfriend a lot. We are together for more than 4 years now and so crazily in love. He was my best friend before we fell in love with each other and now he is both my best friend and my lover.
Off-late, i keep dreaming so strangely. A week and half ago, i had a dream that i was married to a celebrity. I pushed it aside thinking it is just a reflection of my liking his movies.
But What was weird was two days later, i dreamed of loving my Ex – my first love (6 years back) and getting back together.
And another day i dreamed that i fell in love with my first crush. In real life, I am still in touch with him. He is happily married and a great friend to me. Only a friend.
And earlier this week i dreamed that i had been engaged to an unknown man and showing him off happily to my friends and that my family adores that guy.
Yesterday night i had a dream that, my parents approve my relationship with my real life boyfriend and yet i go meet my childhood friend at a theater. He learns that i am about to get engaged and he gets angry and sad because he loves me. He asks me about it and i tell him it is not like that and i wanna be with him and then we go on a long walk charting up what to do And end up talkin for hours about general stuff that couples do. After about some hours after we realise its been long, we lowly bike back to our respective houses and I end up sleeping with a smile on my face. Dream ends.
And I woke up in a sad state because i keep experiencing such dreams. For a fact, its been years, specifically more than 5 years since i last spoke to that friend. And in the dream my friend did not even seem like himself, his face was someone else’s and actually he was someone else altogether except for his name.
Of all the dreams the dreams of my ex, first crush and a lost friend, are the ones that are bothering me most.
I am suddenly confused and sad as to why i am dreaming such things.
Please help me know the meaning of the dream!

Hi, The dreams you are dreaming now are normal for someone who has been in a relationship for 5 years. It is as if you have been married for 5 years so it is like a couple at this time. After this time in a relationship, what you have to do is to start developing in yourself, the personal qualities that you need for the relationship to advance, which is probably to get married and have a family. The qualities that you need are represented in the boys that you were being intimate with in your dreams. Each one has something specific that you need to develop. Usually they have to do with the more masculine side of life such as being really assertive or being really strong or courageous in putting yourself out there, but it is not clear from the dream which qualities you need. As you progress in the relationship and become a mother, for instance, your life will suddenly and dramatically change. The love and friendship you have with your boyfriend will not be enough because the demands on your true self will be much greater because the responsibility is so much greater.

My friend had a dream last night that I was robbing a store he worked at he said I took my mask off and he was telling me that this isn’t me and I hit him with the gun took the money and ran off. Hi Samantha, This dream is about trying to get things in life that don’t belong to you by putting on a fake self, a mask, and then not feeling like you did anything wrong. Hello and thank you for reading. When I was a child I had a reoccurring dream probably age 5 the dream started and continued until I was about 11 or 12. In my dream I would be on the edge of a grassy area and a forest. I would go into the forest and I would meet a boy. He and I would play and I would chase him. He would eventually run far away from me and then turn into a wolf. The moon was prominent and the forest was beautiful. I wasn’t afraid but always anxious and saddened by loneliness. I believe I’ve met this person and saw this scenario play out. However I cannot get over the feelings or this person that plays no role in my life at this point. Thanks you again,

Hi, The moon and forest are symbols that are more about your feminine qualities, but the boy turning into a wolf and running away is more about your masculine qualities. In actuality there is no such thing as masculine and feminine qualities. There are only spiritual qualities that are inherent in everyone. When you are a woman, it is more natural to have the feminine qualities like compassion and love and receptivity, while men have an easier time with strength and assertiveness. This, of course, is in general only. The boy who turns into a wolf in the dreams is your masculine side, which when it runs away from makes you feel lonely. When you become the wolf, then you will find that you are more easily united with others and not lonely. It will also allow for whatever man you are with to develop his more feminine side which is crucial for a long lasting positive relationship.
