Last night I dreamt that a rainbow spider bit my finger and wouldn’t come off. It’s legs were like little knives that stabbed into my finger and were stuck there until I removed them one by one. But I don’t understand what the meaning is.

A spider is a symbol of feminine positive power when the dream is a positive one. In your case the feminine power is used in a negative way because it bit you. The rainbow color means that the feminine power used in a negative way is beauty. It is like someone has used their beauty in a negative way against you probably to exclude you or get what they want. The best way to think of this dream is to think of your husband and the other as metaphoric energy rather than real energy. You have lost the passion for something inside and believe that if you leave your old self, then you can have a free feeling. When you are working with yourself, there are two things to do. One is to remember positively who you are and what you are capable of, then to do whatever you can to open up new changes in you that open up positive energy. You have the tendency to think that if you just totally throw out old relationships or your old self, then the new self will be free, but it won’t work. You will just do exactly the same thing all over. You have to remember how great you already are then fearlessly go after new changes. Be totally fearless in changing yourself.

Going to the old village in the dream means going to past memories in your mind. There is something you need to remember from the past which seems positive about growing up in the village. It is like you need to remember it so that you can have that energy in your life. It is probably being close to others, but I am not sure.
I dreamt that there was a guy and he was going around killing and torturing people. Anyone people I knew and people I didn’t know. He kind of resembled Mel Brooks, but wasn’t him exactly. I apparently was on a relationship with a a guy whose father was killed by this serial killer and I was pushing some other relative of his to the funeral in his wheelchair when I got to the place the second was being held at I asked my friend where I should sit. I didn’t feel that I had a right to sit with the family since I technically wasn’t family yet. But I didn’t want to seem insensitive so I was stuck between sitting with people who were my friends and my boyfriend’s family. I somehow wound up back my house I currently live at with my younger sister. We were playing on our phones and then I heard a noise and realize the serial killer was there and he as killing people. I was so scared and I tried to hide, but my sister said it was alright. He wasn’t going to hurt the two of us. Then I was on some type of RV vehicle with other people but they obviously were too scared to move for fear of being killed. My sister was under the impression she was liked by the serial killer so she moving around the RV as if she were on a trip with family. I mimicked her so I wouldn’t be so scared. She was even talking with serial killer as if he wasn’t a deranged psychopath. We arrived at our destination and we all got out, but none of us tried to run away because we were so afraid of being hurt. We doing some type of construction work, but I’m not sure exactly what we were doing. Out of nowhere there was a crowd of people and I was walking over to the event of some sort. I was standing by some people when I felt someone run their fingers through my hair. The person touching my hair said you have beautiful hair may I braid it. As I was answering yes I turned around and saw that it was President Obama. I was so shocked all I did was nod yes and walk over to a table. He began to braid my hair. We talked for a little bit until I saw my sister. I asked the President if it would okay if my sister took some pictures. He said it was okay. Then out of no where my sister was on top of a roof and she was trying to tell me we had to go before we got in trouble with the serial killer. We were back at the RV like vehicle talking with the serial killer bear by and my sister said you better by talk about meeting the president or have him find those pictures or else he’ll be mad. Then I woke up.

In this dream the serial killer represents negative energy that kills relationships, whereas Pres. Obama represents energy that brings people together. The goal is be more like Pres. Obama but you have a fear of relationships being killed like people suddenly ending them is you act like Pres. Obama. It is really interesting. This is because the mind has a tendency to blow up one bad incident in your memory and think everyone is like that. What you need to do instead is blow up positive instances of relationships with others and play them over and over in your memory. You have a natural gift for bringing people together, but you also have a fear preventing you from acting on it fully. The fear is really common. People often get it from the news. They hear one bad story, blow it up like everyone is like that and then protect themselves. You and sister both have it which means you learned it in your family probably from one of your parents. Let go of the fear and be courageous in uniting people like Obama is.
I am a 24 year old woman. I am still struggling with my bachelor’s degree. I’ve got bipolar disorder and traits of major depressive disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Do, my education has gone for a toss. I wanted to make my career in cosmological and mathematical research. And I’m far far far away from that. I still haven’t come in to terms with this.
Yesterday, I saw that I was in this huge building with lots and lots of research students from different fields of science. Every floor was labelled with its subjects and was filled with numerous students, all happy persons working hard hand in hand with each other. I was there to meet someone or for something else maybe, I was clearly an outsider. I saw myself many times in the elevator, always going up, reaching a floor where some experiments on physics were being conducted. I went up like that thrice, each time to the same floor as if on repeat mode. I knew one student there, an acquaintance and I was there to meet someone of a much higher position, head of the department maybe. I can understand this part probably shows my insecurities and sadness. But I didn’t understand the following part.
When the elevator would stopped in other floors for other people or when I reached my particular floor, I would see that elevator is old and so is the building(fully functional though). The elevator had those collapsible gates. But when it was moving up, it was different, closed doors, very furnished and I found myself looking at a mirror. I saw my reflection, clear just as I would in real life. I looked at myself, I noticed in my mind that I was looking good and I also saw that uncertain sad look on my face which is often there. My face was clear, very clear. I can’t understand that, it seems that it meant something, I was trying to tell myself something that I ought to know. I don’t know what to think of it.

The problem you are having, according to the dream which is probably the cause of the bi-polar feelings, is that you feel you are on the outside, like you don’t really belong. When you try to get into it, it is like riding an elevator trying to get to the up feelings about what you are doing and connecting with the right people.
The remedy of the situation is fairly simple, but you have to do a fair amount of therapy to overcome it. The remedy is feel really positive about yourself like you really belong and have something amazing to contribute. Cosmology and research may be the wrong choice. What I would do, is put yourself into your studies fully by feeling like you belong. When you do this fully, then opportunities will appear. You probably developed the outsider feelings long before you began to study. Anyway, the goal is to feel like you belong.
Hi. Last night I dreamed that I was in an old museum with my dad and we went upstairs to see some jewelry exhibit at the top of the building. We had to climb up stairs and crawl through some wooden slot in which we accesses the top floor through.
after viewing the jewelry, we decided we didn’t want to go through the wooden entrance again and instead asked a worker there where the elevators were. They said there was only 1 elevator and that one man ran it (it was in his office down the hall).when we went dlwn the hall, the old museum resembled now the back of an old diner restaurant or a dimly lit office building. We walk into an open door and walk across the floor to ask the man, only to notice that the wet on the floor was his urine. We had to wake the man up and he asks if we were there forthe elevator. He gets up for some reason and stands in f ront of theelevator a while, just small talking to my dad and I. Suddenly he creepily tries to touch my hair and I pull away. My dad slaps him when he tries again and suddenly the man, who is obviously special needs or disabled in another way, grabs my dad’s hands and tries to threaten us. I push him off my dad and lock him inside his office while my dad found the way back to the wooden thing. We got out after that and then I woke up from the dream.

What this dream says is that you have a positive relationship with your dad in that he is protective and supportive. This shows up in the old museum with jewelry which means you have a lot of positive memories like having a museum of positive memories in your head. Where you are going, however, is going to need something else than reliance on the old memories, however valuable they will be because they only protect you from bad happening like the disabled man groping at you. What you need instead is some tools to be able to transform the lives of others in a positive way so that something brand new in the world is created. It is like the world we live in now is an old museum and what is coming so powerfully different in a positive way that you need to have a very radical mind in a positive way to see the new future. It is going to be magnificent for you and others if you can have a radical mind.
Hi I had a dream with several different senarios I dreamed I was feeding a rabbit and then it went to some people feeding me Chinese food and I am pregnant and then it goes to me crossing a body of water to some cabin and going inside a cabin and rats crawling on my arm and I feel the weight of the rat and then I am taking a bath in the cabin while I’m taking a bath I look up at the window and there are people watching me while I’m naked and then some guy steals my purse I get it back but he stole my makeup and other objects I had in there then I wake up can someone please help me interpret this weird dream.

So I am headed to the mountains to look for some lizards that can only be found in dry arid mountains. I had researched them and that I would be able to find them at an old abandoned town. So my daughter and I started to head up that way so we could hike to there. As we are driving up the mountain I see a train depot. There are at least four old time steam trains just taking off from the station. I felt in awe seeing the magnificence of them as the steam and smoke came billowing out from around them. They were headed in the same direction as us since the road ran alongside the tracks. And then I woke up

I have never pursued a dream interpretation before. I received my dream interpretation today, and oh my goodness. It’s like a weight lifted off of my chest to finally understand what my particular reoccurring dream meant. It was 100% yes, that’s what I feel I want/need to do in my personal life as far as goals I want to achieve and my passions. It’s like a big “aahhhhhh”. I feel so much better and the anxiety of this dream is gone. It’s hard to find the exact words to describe how I feel now, but it’s great! Thank you SO much for your help!!

I saw in my dream an extremely adorable baby boy (2-3) years old doing funny stuff and he kept giggling; my friend is standing near the baby observing him n m noticing the two from a bit distance and the two of us are quite amused and genuinely happy listening to his giggling and looking into those cheerful eyes and we started laughing too.

Dear AHN, Running with a lion means running with your courage at your side. This means to go through your life running after what you want to achieve with courage right with you as if it were your partner. It is a great way to go after what you want in life. You have some fear that the negative lions in the world are going to get you, but it isn’t huge. The way to deal with negative lions, people who use aggression in the wrong way, is to just let them go, not concern yourself with them and go for strongly forward with your courage.
I had a dream last night that I woke up with a long bar from my shoulder to my hand that was very dark skinned, like native or black. I walked out to the city and everyone was wondering what was wrong with me, or why I had this…any guesses??

I am trying to picture this in my mind, but it is a bit difficult. The purpose of a bar like that is to give you strength, but the problem is that it is outside of your arm, rather than inside as if you have inner strength in your arm. Arms in a dream are for having the strength to carry out the things you have to do in life that require skills. You seem to need some kind of inner strength to do this, but you are looking outside of yourself from others to get the strength rather than internally. Think of yourself as being really strong.
I had a dream that I was walking through some woods and I saw a young man doing some dancing. I walked past a log and a bunch of birds flew up in the air. I went over to the man. He looked really sad so I asked why. He said they’ve got another one. I asked what that meant and he said the bad lady has got me too. Being very weirded out I started to run to get away. I passed that log and a bunch of birds flew up in the air again. I thought that was weird but I kept running. I ran for a long, long time, but only to find myself right back where the man was. I ran past the log again and a bunch of them birds flew up in the air again. Every time I passed that log the birds would fly up in the air. All of a sudden the woods disappeared and I found myself and the man inside a windowless brick room with a huge metal door. The door opened and and another man explained where I was, took my clothes, and told me I would never escape so there’s no point in even trying. Right as the man was going to leave a girl comes from out of nowhere and bangs him on the head and knocks him out. She yells at me to grab my clothes and run. I run out the doors with her. We run past three houses and we hid in some bushes to put her clothes back on. Before we leave the girl notices her mother in the kitchen of one of the houses. She wants to go in and see her. I have a bad feeling about that so I tell her not to and try and hold her back. I can’t hold her and she breaks free and I see her run into the house and up to her mom. I see them talk and then start crying and hugging. The bad woman walks into the kitchen from out of nowhere with a really big knife and she slits the girl and her mother’s throats. I run from out of the bushes and run and run and run until I can’t run anymore because of hunger and exhaustion. I search for a place to lay down that’s covered in case the woman saw me and I had chased after me. Before I can find a place I see the bad lady and I quietly break into one of the houses nearby. I run upstairs into a girls room. I see her sleeping on her bed so I hide behind a wall trying to fight sleep long enough so that the woman can leave and I’d be safe. Apparently I couldn’t fight it off because the next thing I know is I’m laying on the ground on a pillow with a blanket on top of me. I think the girl must’ve seen me and been nice. No. The woman was laying right beside me staring at me. I look over at where the girl was in her bed and see that her throat has been cut. I start crying and the woman has the nerve to try and comfort me. She takes me back to her house and puts me back in the brick room where I find the man who had been dancing was being carried out in a body bag. He had somehow fashioned a shiv and killed himself. The next thing I knew the brick room was a forest again and a new girl was walking towards me. As she approached me I noticed I was dancing. When she got close enough she asked why I looked sad. I said it was because they’ve got another one. Then I woke up.

That was really an intense dream. I am going to make it as simple as possible. The man dancing and yourself dancing along with the birds represent your free-spirited self that wants to dance her way through life. This is where you are going spiritually, your free-spirited self. If the old lady that tracks down and kills everyone were not in the dream, then you would be able to do it easily because it is so you. While you can run from her and escape, others cannot. The deep psychological question you have to ask yourself is “who is she?” This is a metaphorical question. She is not a real person, but represents energy that exists in a lot of people. It kills you from dancing your way through life. I will give you my opinion, but really you have to ask yourself these questions. She represents the repressive, judgmental self that lives inside people, male or female. She appears as a woman because she blocks feminine energy of being accepting and non-judgmental. She stalks you everyday in your mind because she is so real in the world. The key is learning to break free from her because she kills the free-spirited you. The way to do it is to have a huge huge huge attraction to the free spirited self and then letting go of the judgmental people and what they say. Not so easy to do but well worth all of the effort it is going to take.
I was dreamt I was doing something at church with my friends from work and school about people being gay or supporting gay rights were called to the front and I walked up and stood next to Katie and Bree and we were singing a song.
Then I was at a park sitting at a table with people who were obviously my friends, but I don’t them in real life and they noticed I had teeth behind my four front teeth. I mentioned to them that I had this same problem happen when I was younger. I showed anger that it was happening again. I was afraid both sets of teeth were going to fall out and since they were my permanent teeth I would be toothless and ugly. I went to eat something one of the teeth felt loose so went to feel it and it fell out but it was still attached to the root and the it’s mate fell out. I was freaking out and then I was afraid the others would do that so I had my friend drive me to the dentists. He was such a bad driver. I kept saying slow down so I can tell you were to turn and you won’t miss it but he wouldn’t listen to me. He even ran a red light. I was furious. I called the front desk lady from the car saying I would like to make an appointment and that I was going to be walking right in in a second so she came out to the car and opened my mouth to show her and she reached in my mouth to see the teeth that had fallen and she was sucked into my mouth by some kind of force. The next thing that happened was I was in some kind of hotel and I was writing some kind of number sequence on top of a box and someone was telling me I wasn’t putting the numbers in the right places. Then I woke up.

Gay rights are a tricky subject and that is why you have trouble with your teeth. Teeth are for chewing on things (metaphorically chewing on ideas) so that you can make informed decisions. You have too many teeth which means you believe that you have to chew a lot, but in so doing you are fearful of losing all of it. As you try to get your teeth fixed you end up way far away from where you started without your teeth being fixed.
The question with gay rights has to do with allowing people to have sex with whomever they are attracted to especially when they are consenting adults. It is an idea that you would like to chew on, but you are fearful that if you chew on it, you may be seen as intolerant. The important principle in dealing with sexual behavior is to be accepting of where people are at, but also to allow science to inform the subject. In the current world there is not a lot of science being done in the area because it is too politically charged. My own sense is that science is going to find out that attraction is a lot more flexible than we currently believe. If, in your chewing on ideas, you think about attraction in general and not specifically on sexual behavior, you will start to get a lot of illumination. Flexible attraction. It is an interesting idea.
I wonder if because I’m gay and so many people think it’s a sin and horrible to be gay that I on a subconscious level think I’m a bad person and don’t deserve to be happy. Is that what the whole gay rights things was in my dream?

Thanks for sharing that you are gay. It sheds a lot of light on your dream. The teeth have to do with being able to chew on the subject. The gay rights probably has a lot to do with you being able to feel like you should be treated like everyone else. It wasn’t like you chose who you would be attracted to. The first step seems to be to recognize what an incredible person you have with amazing gifts. Then the second step is to deal with how you perceive others feel about you. The second step is harder than the first one, but the first step is extremely important because you have something big to give to the world. It is worth doing some sessions on. I am happy to help you work through it. You can look on the website for how I do the counseling and what I charge. I think it would be well worth it.

I Dream of wrapping a newborn baby.. I don’t know who’s baby it is. I was in a hall with alot of closed doors. I was standing in front of a half door. The bottom was closed but the top half was opened. The baby was lying on top of a table on the door. I was told to bathe the baby. I went to a large room with a lot of water. It wasn’t a pool, it looked like a large ocean in this small room. There were people in it. I walked away not wanting to put the baby in it. Then a guy came and pretty much took over. He told me what to do and guided me

This is a dream about what to do when you are learning something new or you have a new project to work with. The metaphor is to treat it as if it were your baby. You seem to be ok when you are wrapping the baby, which means nurturing it, but when you have to bathe it, like what is the pure motive of the project, you get somewhat overwhelmed. The guy represents your manly inner energy, which is like your strength and assertiveness. So really it is a combination of your nurturing feminine energy in the first stage and your strength and assertiveness in the second stage. Both energies are necessary for a project to work.

Tiger snakes are venomous in real life. They usually means that you have really poisonous people in your life. In this case the snake is dead and split in half which means that the venomous person no longer has power over you. You don’t have to be fearful of jealous people, for instance. Instead you can remember your really positive qualities and then really go for them. Let go of the fear of really negative people and go for positive things instead.
Hey, I’ve had these dreams where I’ve developed telepathy, I was hoping you could help me decode this as it was an extremely vivid dream, and usually my vivid dreams are only ones that actually come into fruition in my waking life, however I doubt that I’ll actually develop telepathy so I’m thinking its some kind of veiled metaphor.

Telepathy is the ability to read what others are communicating and also to communicate without verbally speaking. Reading what someone else may be thinking and feeling is not as difficult as communicating telepathically. The best way to start is pretty easy. When you are walking behind someone, try to copy their body posture and gait. As you do this, you will start to pick up how they feel and what their thoughts might be. It is not so mysterious. Just try it. You can do the same with sending positive words of encouragement to people. Do it as an experiment. I use this kind of method all the time. It really works.
I had a dream about my dad who passed away. We were camping with the family he was in such good health an happy but then we went on a hike an saw the most beautiful scenery together but as tbe hike went on he started to get in pain again an could barley make it at the end of the hike he told me he had to go an died all over again… when i woke up it felt so real like it wasnt ever a dream.

If you ask him for help, he will no doubt be there. Second is that he wants you to do all you can to work on family unity. Your family is first. Third is that of being in awe of God’s creation, living in appreciation of beauty and especially nature.
