  1. Hello

Though I’m single in reality I had a dream that I was on a highway in the back seat of a red Bugatti with the love of my life. I don’t know this guy in real life but in my dream he was my world. Two women were in the front seat driving the car. They had scarfs rapped around their head I couldn’t see their faces. Me and lover were seating in the back making out. I remember it being so amazing the car was driving fast the wind blowing our hair and we were making out yearning for each other soul. I remember just looking at him and seeing him as my one and only. We were driving through farm land, all we could see were plains. There was nothing else but the road and the red Bugatti and the plains. The road was narrow. Then suddenly we stop to find a big, I mean really huge, like touches the clouds plantation and a bulldozer. We looked like literal ants compared to the plantation and the bulldozer. A woman in a green vest leads us out of the car and directs us two huge lines of people. While we are waiting the plantation and the bulldozer Begin to crash to the ground and everyone is panicking and running thousands of people die
What does this dream mean thank you.

    • Dear Emma,
The problem you have in the dream is that you have a huge difference in your life between the fantasy of the dream and what you would like to have and actual reality. When you are in the space of the first part of the dream, sooner or later reality comes crashing down and kills everything. So what you need to learn how to do is to have a great marriage between reality and imagination. The reality cannot be too far ahead of the fantasy like the dream. It needs to be extremely positive like in the dream, but also based upon the real world. The reason for it is simple, but not often understood. When you have a dream or an aspiration, if it is not real big in the beginning, then achieving the dream makes the next goal much easier. Each step you increase the difficulty. It is a bit like training for a long running race. If you can run 10 K then the next time you can set the goal for 11 K and so on. Eventually you get to where you can 20-30 with relative ease. If you start smaller and then gradually increase, then the world does not come crashing down on you.

  2. A couple of months ago I had a dream of getting married, there was no wedding ceremony, though; and in reality, I’m still single. In my dream, my groom/partner/husband was of a royal family and we were of different nationalities. The marriage happened because of political motivation. We didn’t know nor love each other. There was a certain person in the dream as our match maker. And just last night, I had a dream again of the relationship, but I didn’t see my husband in the dream and I was already 7 month pregnant, and at the time a war was about to happen and I had to save myself and my baby because I was part of a royal family member now. I was running in the dream to get into the car and I managed to be alive. When I was having both dreams I can tell I didn’t feel anxious, I was rather calm, relaxed and a bit happy. What do those dreams mean? Thanks.

    • Dear Laura,
The marriage in your dream is the marriage to your royal self. This is the self that in you that is inherently noble. It is not known to you as much as you would like it to me that is why you don’t have the love attachment yet. It seems a bit foreign. Despite the outer world being in conflict in the dream, you maintain a calm and relaxed state. The pregnancy would be the positive parts of you that are being developed internally as a result of being a more noble being. It is because you are beginning to live and act out of your higher self.

  3. Had a dream I only remember small frames of but the get the jist of the situation. Was in a huge room a lot of us were arguing then we felt a vibration so looked out this huge ceiling to floor window and thought it was an earthquake. Suddenly I saw the trees, grass, houses fold and noticed it wasn’t just vibrations but everything was crumbling. The building we were in began crumbling as well until there was just this long strip left standing that some of us managed to hold on to. Looking beyond where the rest of the earth fell was just pitch black no ending to see. Some people were sitting or standing on this long strip left standing and right before I woke up the last thing I remember was holding on and telling myself in my head not to let go.

    • Dear Lena,
When you have a dream like this, there are two things that are very helpful to do. First is to look at the metaphors and the feelings in the dream and see how that matches with what you are feeling about your own life and/or the world around you. The second is to replace the negative feelings and vision with a positive and hopeful one. The two aspects are always pretty much living side by side even if at times we are only paying attention to the negative. An earthquake means that the once solid ground, the solid reality around you, is crumbling or falling apart. Personally this could mean that aspects of your life are falling apart or that the culture you live in is falling apart. There are probably plenty of signs around you to validate the feelings. When you are in an earthquake like feeling, the tendency of the ego is hang on to the last strip of land like you are doing which is holding onto the last bit of the old culture. What you don’t see in the dream is that, at the same that the current reality maybe collapsing there is an alternative culture, one much more positive, inclusive, equitable, and equal that is beginning to appear. As you begin to visualize the new culture and stay focused on it you will see that its ground much more solid than your current ground. This is where you need to put your hope because it is definitely coming even as we see the old one collapsing around us. You can just let the old one go and begin looking at the new more elevated world that is coming into existence. That is where you should invest your energy.

  4. So I had a dream my guy left his cell phone in my bed at my place. I was extremely eager to go through it (something I’d thought of but would never actually do in waking life). But I was excited all the same because I felt like I was about to get in his head. The first text thread I found I couldn’t figure out if he was romantically involved with the woman or if she was just one of his clients by the way the conversation was going (very short). The second was a convo on fb & it looked like a woman coming onto him very strong but his replys were very short seeming uninterested. His phone has a lot to do with his work so for him to leave it was very strange. I remember thinking in the dream, I have to see him go give him back his phone but he wasn’t doing the normal guy thing (beating down my door to get it). In waking life he never hides his phone from me either but this dream just strikes me as odd. im usually a dreamer but this is only the second dream I had in regards to him. Any advice?

    • Dear Ashanti,
So in the dream you are curious to see if he has romantic interest in other woman. You find out that he doesn’t which means he either has a lot of interest in you or a lot of interest in work. My guess is that he has a lot of interest in you, in which case you should take advantage of it and work to create a positive environment with him. In this regard you have to let go of any worry you have about him because this will only hamper your relationship. You need to be really positive, tell him positive things about himself and engage in deep and elevated conversation with him. Don’t hold back because of worry.

  5. I was riding to see if I could get a little help and Clarity for these dreams I keep having. I keep dreaming that a random stranger is trying to kill me but fails each time and when this person fails I sit there and talk to them and try to forgive them and be friends with them. Every single time someone tries to do harm to me kill me hurt me or anything I just keep trying to be their friend and I’m not trying to be their friend just so that I won’t get killed I can tell that part in my dream. I am just genuinely wanting to be their friend or get very close to them even though they want to hurt me. I’m so confused.

    • Dear Rachel,
Killing in a dream means killing of relationships. The reason that this is symbolically the case is that in the invisible world, like the dream world, there are no actual bodies, so killing the physical body doesn’t mean anything. In the invisible world the worst thing you can do is to cut off connections with others. This is because being connected increases the power of everyone. It is organic in that two connected souls are more powerful than the sum of the two energies. There is like a third entity that is extremely positive. Your desire to forgive and reconnect means that your spirit understands this principle and wants the connection. The level you are at right now is forgiving so you won’t be killed. When you see that connection is extremely powerful, then it will be amazing for you.

  6. Hi Richard,
I hope you can help me with these two dreams since they’ve been on my mind a lot. The first dream started with me in an unfinshed basement in our house (our basement is finished in real life, but in the dream, it wasn’t). There was water leaking quite heavily into the basement from the basement ceiling. I went up to the top level of our house to see where the water was coming from, and it was leaking from the walls and ceiling into the basement. The second dream started in the same basement again with water coming from the ceiling. I went upstairs again to see if the water was coming from the same rooms, but this time, all of the walls were patched with multiple small, smooth drywall patches. I knew that the water was now running behind the patched walls into the basement. Any ideas on what this could mean?

    • Dear Shel,
A basement in a dream represents your lower nature, as in your animal self. This is different than your higher nature, which is your spiritual self. The lower nature is where you have all of the issues like fear, hurt, etc.. The higher nature is where the positive qualities like courage, love, and honesty are. So you have water leaking into your ego or lower nature. Water represents relational energy so you can say that you have a relationship (maybe several) that are causing problems in your basement, your ego. When this happens you have an ego response rather than a higher nature response. Usually the higher nature responds with patience, forbearance, kindness, tolerance, and acceptance in these cases, but since your ego is getting stimulated, you probably respond from a negative feeling like anger or hurt. You can solve the dream by finding who the negative waters are, and then begin responding in more elevated manner. It is often not easy especially with challenging people. The ego is the easy way out, but shows a kind of laziness about working on relational issues. The culture is not helpful because it is pretty lazy also. To respond to people in a positive and loving manner it usually requires letting go the lower self like the hurt and anger and fear.

      • Dear Richard,
Thank you so much for taking your time to respond to me and for your interpretation. I greatly appreciate it and it totally makes sense. I am wondering if the relational issue can somehow be applied to my relationship with myself (if that makes sense). My toughest relationship (besides with myself) is with my father who was very controlling and mentally/emotionally abusive when I was growing up. I didn’t have contact with him for years, but am now doing a lot to help him out (even though it is has been detrimental to my mental health). I treat him with kindness, compassion, and as much patience as I can muster since he can’t hurt me anymore and he’s “tame” now. I cannot treat myself with the same type of qualities (and I never have). The only person I “act out” against is myself.

        • Dear Shel,
You obviously have a lot of compassion for your father despite his mistreatment of you. This is very positive and commendable. However, it sounds like the negative effect of the abuse is that you have turned against yourself, which means that you are not able to show the same compassion and kindness to yourself. It can be a pretty complex process to undo the abuse so that you can become compassionate with yourself and then start doing things with your life that you really want to do. It usually takes me about 10 sessions working with someone before they can be fully into their positive selves. You obviously have a lot to give which is shown by the fact that you haven’t given up on your father despite his condition. You can start being compassion by taking the time to do small things that bring you some measure of healing.

          • Thank you for your kind reply, Richard. I will work on the small things and maybe counseling a bit further on down the line:)

  7. Good evening,
What does it mean when you see a person you know that is still alive as clear as you could possibly see them in a dream? I think the dream was me at a NBA basketball game and a girl I know but haven’t spoken to in years walked up to me and sat next to me and spoke. It was so realistic. I don’t think I have ever had one so real. I felt like I could reach out and touch her. The conversation was short, a “hey I haven’t seen you in a minute how have you been” convo. But I don’t understand why it was her or why it was so realistic.

    • Dear Celia,
A very realistic dream means that the distance between the dream world or the spiritual world and the material or physical world is so close that it seems as they they are the same even if the dream is metaphoric in nature, that is, it is written in symbols. In means that you can apply the message in the real world and it will be successful right away. This dream is a re-connection dream which signifies that you can reconnect with certain people right now and then it will be a great experience. It isn’t always true that it is timely to re-connect, but this dream says that now it is timely.

  8. Hello Richard

I had a dream I was dating someone and I didn’t know why he was dating me because he didn’t look like the type that would. We went to my job and found my friend (who is really judgemental in real life) and we ask her if we look like we could be together. She gave us a dirty look and said no and walked away. We go home and cuddle on the couch while we watch tv. He gets up and says we should ask people on internet if we look like we are together and I agree. We ask people in the internet and a woman says I look cute and well put together. I blush because no one has ever said that before. We get more comments like Her’s but this one guy said I don’t look like he’s girlfriend, more like a friend. We stop reading the comments and sit quietly for a while. I then tell he him it doesn’t matter what they think as long as we are together. We hug and go back to watching TV. I’ve been single for 3 years and I’m not the type that guys hit up or the cute one. In thus dream I was surprised all this s was happening.

    • Dear Ruth,
The dream is a teaching dream to you. It shows you that you don’t need to seek other people’s opinions about whether or not you are suited for someone else. You can trust your own ability to get together with someone and go for it. How you look isn’t as important as taking initiative and being friendly and open and non-judgmental with others. People that are really attractive physically can get into a relationship really easily because people come up to them all the time, but they have a much harder time staying in a relationship because it is so tempting to just leave for another when the slightest negative thing happens.

  9. Hi Richard
So I had this dream that I was watching the batman animated series with my brother who I have not seen in 2 years. Then we went to the hallway out of my apartmant and we see people gathered there and a woman in a track suit and a pigs mask standing in the middle. She says she’s a serial killer and she is going to bomb this whole apartment building. She reveals a bomb, which is also shaped like a pig and starts the timer. Everyone starts to run and get out of the building including me and my brother. We jump off the fence and run into the field.(which is not near my apartment building in real life but it resembles the one in Uganda were I spent my childhood). After we run for miles in the field we find a motel that is completely made out of wood. We get in and ask for a room and tell them everything that happened. When we get in the room, we see that the room is messy with clothes and bags everywhere. But the clothes and bags belong to me and my mother. My brother and I assume we were here when we were traveling to Washington to run away from the people in my home state. We go to the loby and a woman warns us that the owner of the motel is a serial killer as well, but she said it as if she wanted as to get killed by him. That’s it for my dream. I remember you said my apartment building represented me in my other dream. Is there a connection?

    • Dear Emma,
In this dream you are trying to get away from serial killers. To understand the dream you have understand what a serial killer is a symbol of in the dream world. You start watching batman, which is the metaphor for killing serial killers, but you end up fleeing from the serial killers in the dream, which means that you cannot be like batman in real life. A serial killer is someone who destroys relationships because, in the spiritual realm, where there are no bodies, the worst thing that can happen is a lack of connection between two souls. This means that the dream wants you to actually be a serial life-giver or a serial connector of souls. You do this by being good at bringing people together, by igniting a candle of love in every place you go and bringing joy to people’s hearts. Batman is actually the wrong metaphor. What we need are people who can bring unity and love to the world. Then the serial killers go away by themselves. You have a natural ability to do unify people so you can start getting busy doing it.

  10. Hi had a strange dream last night some how I ended up in a room with a person I know and his dieing there’s his brother my sister then the person who’s dieing changes in to my cousin then can’t remember much but it changing again to my distant cousin and I’m at his home doing washing and every 1s acting normal after his just died and there’s 2 dogs and I’m s ears of um and I’m just walking around trying to find where there washing gos

    • Dear April,
A metaphor of a person dying means that his spirit is dying, he is dying to his true self. The reason people do not really pay attention is because they are not aware of their own true selves, their own spirits. They are only concerned with their material or physical being. You have the dream so that you pay attention to people’s true beings and not just their physical ones. You can do that by being really friendly to them. That is why you have two dogs in the dream.

  11. Hi Richard,
I was just wondering what it means to dream of someone washing your feet in a dream or getting a pedicure?
    Thanks for your help again.

    • Hi Nicole,
A pedicure or having your feet washed is what women do to take care of themselves. It is actually a relatively simple act, but women generally feel really nurtured after a pedicure. It lets you know that there are simple things that you can do to allow yourself to feel nurtured inside.

  12. I had a dream where I woke up in the middle of the night because my dog needed out I walk across the room to the sliding glass door I look at the handle and thare is a light gry ball covering I thought what the hell is that I poked it with a broom it dident move so I reached forward to take it off the door when a long pinkish tail dropped down and a small narrow head with lots of teeth foaming at the mouth hisses at me and bites down on my arm it’s a opossum biting me I scream and. Start shaking my arm trying to get it off I slam it into a wall it drops to the floor snarling at me as the dog barks at it I Chase it out of the house with broom and shut the door. It bit me deep. I open a cabinet and clean the bite then raped in goze and said I probably got raibies or something from that thing I told myself I’d go to the dock in the morning the next morning I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth when I spit u looked in the mirror and started to floss my teeth while I’m looking at my 2 of my bottom teeth and 2 of my top teeth the k9’s got longer and jagged I jumped back an clamped my mouth shut when I looked again they were normal u thout I was going crazy then continued cleaning my teeth then my eyes turned blood red with an odd shaped pupil and the teeth got longer again I looked in the mirror and touched one of my teeth with my finger I cut my finger and cures someone knocks on the door I looked at the door and said I’d be out in a second when I looked in the mirror again I was normal I went to the doc and he gave me pills then said he’d be right back I could see my reflection in a metal try and it had the red eyes and teeth again it spoke to me I said who the hell are you it reached foreword pointing at me and said don’t you see I’m you and your me she slams her hand in the reflective suffice leaving a crack she screams at me laughing like a hyena baring her teeth at me and said come on you bitch let me out if your subconscious you know you want to. Then I woke up

    • Dear Kathryn,
This dream is about the negative inner aspect of yourself that is like the possum in the dream. It hides and then bites others viciously. It is hidden from you, but the dream wants it to come out so that you can deal with it in a positive way. What the dream wants you to become is more loving and nurturing, but you are going to have to deal with the inner kind of vicious part. You developed it from experiences that happened to you. Now you need to let them go and work on your loving qualities rather than protective ones.

  13. I had a strange dream recently. I was out in some house at the country and my sister and I were blocking a door, trying to stop some animals from getting in. I looked out the window to see a brown bear, a white polar bear, a lion, and a black panther. They were all just casually outside together. I went outside and attempted to touch the pomolar bear but it bit my hand and as its teeth sunk deeper into my skin I felt a weird feeling throughout my body. Its like the feeling of drugs going through your veins. Its like the deeper the polar bear sunk its teeth in, the better it felt. Its like it was injecting me with something. And my eyes rolled back, it felt so good. But then my sister pushed the bear off of me and i saw the bite mark on my hand. I can’t get over this dream. The feeling of the bite was so vivid.

    • Dear Akira,
When you have a dream about these kinds of animals, it is because you need their inner qualities. These animals in particular are knocking on your door because you need their energy which is mostly about courage and inner strength. The bear in particular has the quality of great strength so when he bites you and you feel the drug-like sensation your are feeling what is it like to be like a bear. Bear energy or inner strength allows you face difficult situations without deviating from your course. You stay strong even when it is not so easy. Without the bear you would have a tendency to be weak in the face of difficult circumstances.

  14. Hi Richard,
It’s Nicole. I last contacted you on July 19 on this forum about a dream that I had involving the guy that I like. Once again, I have had a dream involving this guy and I would appreciate your help in interpreting it.
I had a dream that I had gone to this place and I was sitting down, when suddenly the guy that I like brought me his phone without telling me a word. He then ran off. He basically wanted me to watch his phone for him. I took his phone though, and I opened it, I went through his messages and everything in the dream.
When I opened the phone though, I realized that his passcode was 8017. In my waking hours, after the dream, I googled this number and I found a verse from the Bible that correlates well to my life involving these numbers.
However, what was strange in the dream was, since his phone is an iPhone, and you could unlock your iPhone by simply putting your fingerprint on the home button, I had tried to open his phone like that in the dream. I opened his phone with my fingerprint and I was in shock in the dream because I had realized that that meant that our fingerprints are the same.
What does this dream mean? Thank you again.

    • Dear Nicole,
If he is giving you his phone and letting you go through his messages, it means that he has nothing to hide from you and trusts you a great deal. The fact that you share the same fingerprint means that you share the same spiritual energy. In some ways knowing him is knowing yourself. It is worth it to get into the relationship because you will find a lot about yourself by knowing him. Sometimes this does not work long term, but it is a great short term ride of discovery.

  15. Whenever I have dreams of my apartment building everything seems opposite. For example the main entrance that is on the left side of the building is on the right same as my apartment. The houses that are on the left are on the other side and the highway is where the houses are. In every dream that involves my apartment building that’s how it always is why?

    • Dear Emma,
Your apartment is a symbol of yourself in your dream. This dream tells you that what you think about yourself in a negative manner is actually the opposite of who you truly are. You have a tendency to think of yourself contrary to who you really are. This, of course, will affect your actions, because you won’t think positively enough of yourself. Work on your self image by having a really positive one. That is who you truly are.

  16. I had a dream that I was changing in my room and a man in a hoody was staring at me from my window. My apartment is on the 4th floor but the man somehow managed to get close to the window and I screamed. He was trying to tell me something but I couldn’t make out his words. Then he took out something out of his pocket and started knocking my window with it. It was this new eye shadow pallet I bought the day before. What does this mean?

    • Dear Lily,
When you are changing close to a window, it means that you are exposed. The fear is that you would be seen by the wrong kind of man that might treat you in an inappropriate manner. However, he gives you your eye shadow pallet which is something that you would use to attract men. So I would say that you are a little conflicted about your exposure to men. If you expose your true self to men, then you will attract the right kind of man for yourself. If, however, you expose your put on self, then that is also who you will attract, a fake person. The goal is to work hard to expose your higher self and then everything will be great for you.

  17. Hi had a dream of a freind climbing through a car window but the door was open so don’t under stand why she was climbing in by the window

    • Dear Annie,
A window in a car is what you see out of so you can see where you are going. It means that she wants to get a vision of where to go with herself before she starts going there. She probably is used to driving without getting anywhere or something like that.

  18. Hi iv been having strange dreams lately 1 was waiting in a pub with every 1 for my grandad who is no longer with us when he gets to the pub every 1 is happy and drinking but my grand dads setting in the middle of the floor with every 1 round him but he looks And just setting with his head down then I had another where I’m in a shop across the road is a pub out side is a hurse and I keep saying iv got to go there leaving but and I’m just standing looking at the pub and funeral cars saying there leaving

    • Dear Mary,
The reason that your grandad has his head down is because the pub is a not a very healthy place for your soul. It is where people go to try to forget their lives rather than being in charge of them and facing the difficulties strongly. There is a whole culture of it which is death to everyone’s soul. A better way to deal with life is to feel like you are in charge of your life, to face the difficulties with honesty, and then believe that there is something you can do about it.

  19. Hi Richard,
Okay, so there’s this guy that I really like a lot. I think that he may like me too, as he always shows signs suggesting so. The thing is, he’s a really confident guy around everyone else but around me, he is shy. He has troubles talking to me sometimes, and stumbles on his words and stuff. I get nervous around him too, so we have never really broken the ice. Now it is the summer and I miss him a lot. We won’t see each other until August 31.
In my dream, he was wearing a white suit and he was sitting in a room made out of glass, kind of resembling a penalty box but smaller. It was apparently his birthday in his dream. His friends hadn’t helped him get this special thing for his birthday, and he was really sad. He had a fight with them and stayed alone in his glass box. In the glass room, he was sitting at a table set for two and he was staring at me very intensely from inside the glass room. I brought him a glass of champagne and I got myself one too. I knocked on the door and he let me in. When he saw me, he hugged me tightly.
Not too long after that, I had a dream of him staring at me from outside a window. I was at a restaurant in the dream and he was outside on the terrace. When I walked out of the restaurant, he came close to me before I woke up.
I can’t wait to hear your interpretation as you seem to have some really great responses to other dreams!
    Thank you!

    • Dear Nicole,
Since there is an attraction to you, it is interesting that he cannot be confident with you. The dream explains that when he is around you, it is like he is trapped in a glass box or looking at you through a window. This means that there is something about you that really makes him come unglued. In order for you to continue the relationship he just needs a lot of encouragement from you and reassurance. You have to help him break the glass. What I think is that you have some very outstanding qualities, not sure what they are, that make him come unglued. Reach out to him and reassure him and then it will be awesome.

      • Hi Richard,
Yes, it’s actually strange but he is able to do indirect actions, he always defends me and stuff, he makes an effort to be closer to me and stuff, he has shown body language signs around me, he acts shy and nervous around me, his friends even told me that he likes me, and he has a lot of songs on his playlist that seem to describe our situation.
I just don’t know I could shatter this glass? I, myself, have troubles talking to him. I get shy around him. It’s the summer for now so we have no way of communicating. What would be your suggestions on shattering this glass and how can I talk to him?
Also, what did it mean when he stared at me from the glass and when he let me in?

        • In the dream you knock on his door and then he lets you in. This means that you have to do the knocking if you want to be let in. When you initiate things with him, then he will let you in, but he is having trouble doing the initiating himself. Someone has to do the initiating in the relationship and the dream says it should be you. He will respond. You just have to go for it and put all of your fears to the side.

      • Hi Richard,
Yes, it’s actually strange but he is able to do indirect actions, he always defends me and stuff, he makes an effort to be closer to me and stuff, he has shown body language signs around me, he acts shy and nervous around me, but he’s a confident guy around other girls, he has many female friends. I am the only one that he acts this way with.
I just don’t know I could shatter this glass? I, myself, have troubles talking to him. I get shy around him. It’s the summer for now so we have no way of communicating. What would be your suggestions on shattering this glass and how can I talk to him? How can I make him feel reassured?
        Thank you for answering!

  20. Hi so this just happened. I was falling alseep and this man I have no idea who started talking to me me, he said tonight me and my son were going with him. And those words scared me and I opened my eyes looked around realized I was dreaming and dosed off again, and again this guy was there, no face or any visual besides black but I suddenly feel as if hes pulling my soul from my body, it was a super weird tingling feeling, and my boyfriend was sitting at the end of my bed back facing towards me and I’m looking at him hoping he’ll turn around and see what’s going on and i manage to scream BABE, NO. and I felt the guy let me go, and when my soul bounced back in my body I also flung out of bed so fast and opened my eyes and my boyfriend was staring at me and my heart was racing faster then I’ve ever felt before. I’m terrified to my core over this. After 5 mins went by and my pulse went back to normal I started crying and couldn’t stop.. I asked my boyfriend what I said to him and he said Che couldn’t understand me cause I was mumbling

    • Dear Sammy,
I see how this could be really frightening especially because of not seeming to have any control over the experience. The man represents dark energy in the world. When the dark energy in you is strong enough, then it is as if your soul is taken away. This just means you stop living from your higher soulful self, and live in the dark shadows. It is what happens to people who are highly addicted or living a life that is not very true to themselves. In the dream you have a fear of this happening to you. Your soul can really never leave you until you die. To prevent the darkness from overcoming you it is important to live a life that is positive and aimed at service to humankind where you are always focused on developing your higher self with qualities like compassion and kindness and honesty. As long as you are on this kind of path you are completely protected by the forces of light.
